Those with Digital Cameras - Pics

CantWait wrote: How many pictures do you have on your memory stick right now?

I have 520.

I don't like to delete them until they are printed off, even if I have them on the computer, backed up on the external harddrive and on disk. Crazy or what??

A&A'smommy replied: lo I have what hasn't been put on my terastation (basicly a server) yet which is like 40 pictures

Jamison'smama replied: I downloaded all of them today. My stick doesn't hold that many--well, I do put it on a the highest quality so I don't know how many it can hold.

3xsthefun replied: I'm not really sure. blush.gif I don't think it holds that many.

7thHeaven replied: Two-hundred twenty something! I've been slaking off on getting my pictures printed and cleared...I should know better since I've worked at photo centers for years! rolleyes.gif

AlexsPajamaMama replied: Mine holds over a hundred, I dont know how many exactly, I just deleted them all yesterday though. I have them on my computer and at snapfish.com, every month or two depending on how many pics I have taken I place an order with them....as well as burn them onto cd. I am pretty crazy about not deleting my pictures from my camera, especially the best ones or really special ones "just incase" happy.gif

mom21kid2dogs replied: Zero. A professional photographer just told me that unless you have a professional quality memory card you are most likely to lose pictures by memory corruption than by any other method. I've never stored pics on my memory card anyway, but I thought the info was worth passing on. I almost lost all my pics when I switched them to an external computer drive (so I thought. I later recovered them) this winter. That experience has prompted me to print all my unprinted pics. I now print when I get 20-30 pics together~just like with film.

C&K*s Mommie replied: Thanks for that info Cheryl. thumb.gif

I am not sure how many ours holds. It is a card, but everytime I upload pics to the computer I try to delete the pics off the card, otherwise I will end up with two copies of the same pics on the computer.

MichaelsMommy replied: I usually have about 30 on there before I unload them in my pc. I'm a pic crazy mom and share them way too much to let them sit 4 long hehe

martzfam27 replied:
same here pics on my digital dont stay for to long biggrin.gif

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I have two cameras. One has I think 5 pictures on it...just havent brought in in from the car to put on the computer. and the other has probably about 5 too...because I have been to lazy to take them off.
I think one can hold 500+ or over an hour of video but If it takes me that long to get them on the computer they will never be properly organized.

Jeffs Wife replied: I download mine onto the computer as soon as I am done taking them (or when I get home) and then I upload them to walmart and order prints right away. My camera doesn't need a memory stick, it can hold them on the camera's internal memory, although I do have a memory stick that I can use with it also but I never have.
I'm not sure how many pics my camera holds. It depends on the quality I want the pics and I always have it set on the highest which will hold about 35. I think if I have it on the lowest setting for emails and stuff I thinks it holds over 100 but I'm not sure

5littleladies replied: My card isn't very big, so probably 60 right now. I usually just download them and once I've got alot on the computer I put them on a cd to back them up. I'm terrible about getting pictures printed! blush.gif

coasterqueen replied: I download pics to my server every day off the card and delete them so they go into the files dated with the actual date I took the picture, so I don't keep more on it than what I take that particular day. I usually print all mine at home, the ones I want to print. If I want to take them somewhere to do it I'll upload the pics I want to print back to the card.
