~Roo'sMama~ replied: They only one I liked tonight was the guy who sang Hero. I love that song and he did it really well. I like the girl with the pink hair, and the black guy with the hair (the one who forgot the lyrics last week) but I didn't think they did great tonight.

I'm confused though - they're down to 36, but only 12 sang tonight. Are they going to cram 24 people into tomorrow night and have results on thursday, or will they have four shows this week and have results on friday?

Tuesday night marks the first time America will vote for our Season 8 American Idol hopefuls. Things are going to work a little differently this season: the top 36 have been split up into three groups of 12. Your vote will send through the highest ranking girl and boy, as well as whoever earns the next highest amount of votes. That's right, only three will make it through to the top 12 this

Then each judges each have a wildcard pick, someone who was voted off who they can bring back.

Tonight is a recap of last nights show and we get to see lots of people voted off and a couple get the "you may be the wildcard pick" speech.

Boo&BugsMom replied: I haven't been able to keep up, but while I was sick last week I got to see it. All I know is that Tatiana girl is ANNOYING! Cry, cry, cry...sudden spastic outburst...cry, cry, cry...scream...sudden weird outburst like she's high...cry, cry, cry. Ugh...annoying.

Ugh, same here. I mean, she actually has a nice voice, but she's waaayyy too annoying and that is most likely going to get her booted.

My2Beauties replied: I'm disappointed this year to I had such high hopes for this season too. Danny Gokey is awesome and I love Alexis Grace.

Kaitlin'smom replied: they are cutting them fast of the 36 they are broken into groups of 12, they sing and only 3 make it though. Top boy top girl and the the next higest score. kinda weird, they get ONE chance to impress america before moving to top 12. Last night was awful, only good ones were Alexis and Danny, they rest blew it big time and Titania was so different very calm it was weird.

I guess that means I should have voted for a guy and a girl last night then... I only voted for Danny.

My2Beauties replied: I don't like the way they are doing it this year, I don't think it gives them enough of a chance to show what they have, I mean their first night they have to be nervous as heck. Like for example I love Anoop Desai but wasn't impressed with him last nigt, I just know he can do better. I guess I just can't pick three people that I want to see for sure go through, because I like about 5 or 6 of them based on the entire season thus far.

I had to re-wind Ryan to make sure I heard him right

its crazy fast, and yes they had to been nervous as heck but thats part of the busines you got find away to shove that aside and give it your all.

did anyone else think the band kinda sucked also, and some of the arrangements were horrible?
