The impression that I got was that they are against sin in general. Thou should not kill, and the soldiers are killing, so our punishment for going to war is our children comming back in body bags. ( her logic, not mine) also, thank God for aids, becuase those that sin get aids, and deserve to die. We should be thanking them for pointing this out to us so we can change our evil ways before it is to late. Again, that is my impression of what she is getting at, not my own personal feelings on it. My MIL sent me an email with an article about it. It was just so vile. That accident happened not 5 miles from where my in-laws live and my FIL actually knew one of the minors who died. Saying that God is punishing America and how they had cracked the Bible. Absoluetly disgusting.

They believe that God has instructed them, through bible passages, to correct those things they feel are wrong in the world. Further they believe that no forum is sacrosanct in their endeavors, for instance, they feel that the funeral of a soldier will give their messages public exposure and therefore it is okay to picket it.

I received a posible threat message about her on monday, from what I understand, the reason they show up at funerals and such is to try to get their message out that the reason soldiers and such are dieing is because God is punishing our country for its exceptence of gays, sin, ect. They arnt celibrating the fact that soldiers are being killed in particular, but in their backward way that God is punishing us for our sins. Just like Michael Crook, she is too nutty to be taken seriously by anyone.

It is sadly odd to me that people in this cult (I use that word because I refuse to call them a Church) are attempting to degrade funerals of the very Men and Women who give them the freedom to spew this crap! They are VILE, STUPID, people. Jesus clearly said 'Let he is without sin cast the first stone' and the Bible clearly states that ALL have sinned-they must have missed that one somewhere in their manefesto I am so sorry to the families of the soilders who these nut cases have intruded upon. I almost feel sorry for them-it must be physically painful to have to go through life so STUPID!

I couldn't agree more. Hatred harms the hater as much as the hated, it must be exhausting to go through life with so much vitriole and anger. Her all consuming intolerance is not what I got out of the Bible, but that's the thing about the Bible, the Koran, and any other religious literature. People impose on them their own wishes and predispositions, and unfortunately, God's not gonna come down and put the ones who got it wrong in time out. Not in this lifetime, anyway.

Isn't it amazing what people do in the name of God. I am sorry that American people have to be subject to this! I am sickened and sad..but I am glad that some day there will be a reckoning day for all!
