What do yall think?

mckayleesmom replied: McKaylee would love that. Dare I ask how much this is costing??? Do you go to them or do they come to you?

There is a birthday place that does something similar here.

luvbug00 replied: awww that's adorable!!! Sounds great!

lisar replied:
We go to them. They have this huge place that is like a spa for kids. Its so cool. They can do all kinds of stuff. They have a runway with camera's and the kids get to dress up. Its really nice. And its costing me alot of money. ALOT. I did a bunch of add ons. Where all the girls get to make a sugar body scrub, and thing of lip gloss, and make their own body wash. (its really cool, I let Lexi and Raygen do it while I was there booking the party) total cost is right at $600.00. They wanted to do the invitations but they charge $2.50 per invitation. I said no thanks I will do them myself.
They have a hot pink limo that they can pick up the kids in and drop them off. I didnt choose that one cause the limo by itself was another $200.00. She didnt need the limo. They do have parties that are cheaper though.

mckayleesmom replied: I know the lady in dh's office did one for her girls at a place here called Kaboodles...I think for 10 girls to get a spa treatment and stuff it was about 200 dollars she said. They got to make lotions and stuff and you just bring the cake..I thought about doing that with Mckaylee this year.

lisar replied:
I wish I had that place here for $200.00. My other option was Justice for girls. It cost alot less but they didnt do half of what the other place does.

MommyToAshley replied: Ashley went to a party at Sweet N Sassy for one of her friends. I think they did the princess themed one. She had a great time... they had their hair, nails, and make-up done, had a little dance party, then at the end they did a fashion show on the runway for the parents. It was super cute, and Ashley really seemed to enjoy it. I knew it was expensive, but I wasn't sure how expensive.

Lexi is going to have a blast... you'll have to take lots of pics/video for us.

lisar replied:
Oh I plan on it. The party isnt till Nov 1st. But in order to have it there I had to book it now. LOL

Our Lil' Family replied: Looks like a TON of fun!! I can't wait to see pics!

mammag replied: Oh I think that would be every girl's dream party! How fun!

luvmykids replied: OMG, Kylie would FLIP OUT rolling_smile.gif I wish I could come laugh.gif

DillsMommy replied: That is so cute. I would have loved something like that when I was little. She's going to have a blast! Take lots of pictures for us to see! thumb.gif

moped replied: Gosh, where were these things when I was a kid???

Looks great!

Bamamom replied: That is too cool - we don't have anything even remotely like that here. I know Katie would love it in a few years!

CantWait replied: That is WILD!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see pics. thumb.gif

Danalana replied: I can't get it to load sad.gif
I'll keep trying...

Sam & Abby's Mom replied: Heck, even I'd like that! thumb.gif

lisar replied:
I know right. But they wont do the adults, I asked

grandma replied:
How old is Lexi?
I must really be out of touch, but isn't $600 for a child's birthday party out of the ordinary?

lisar replied:
$600.00 in my house isn't out of the ordinary. Heck on Raygens 2nd b-day I spent $300.00 on just a water slide for Raygen. I like to go all out on them.

And Lexi will be turning 8.

grandma replied:
I guess since I live in Michigan and the economy is so bad here, $600 seems like alot.
My dil went in with another mom to have 2 kids birthday party at Pump It Up, which cost $350 for 25 kids. lol, I thought that was alot.

lisar replied:
I save and have always given them good parties. Its just something I like to do, so I always do it.

grandma replied:
I know, all of my grandkids have brithday parties every year too. I think the Pump It Up was the most expensive one though. They usually have them at the house with face painting, water slides or the like.
We do have a place at the mall where the little girls can go and get all rock-starred out. I can't think of the name of it right now though.

HuskerMom replied: She's going to have a great time! I bet she's pretty excited!

mommymommy replied: Wow! She will really love that!
What a great gift!
