This is it...the final poll

BTW, we did ask Kylie again yesterday whether she liked Ashlyn or Megan and she said Megan no matter how we asked her the question. I was actually a bit suprised because when we'd ask her she'd pick the name that was last said, but she definitely went with Megan. Of course daddy was beaming with pride that she picked that name. He said "oh that's great Karen..let a 2 year old pick the baby's name." I said, "well no because you like that name too". So he replied, "oh so that's great you let two 2 year olds pick the baby's name". At least he was honest huh?

Josie83 replied: I really like both names, I just think that Ashlyn is slightly less common, I've never met an Ashlyn. Its just so pretty! But whichever you choose will be lovely! xx

DansMom replied: You know me---I like common names! Daniel is number 8 on the most popular names list I think. I voted Megan. I think it sounds good with Kylie, as they both sound Celtic. "Kylie and Megan"---much easier to say out loud than "Kylie and Ashlyn". Of course, you can always call them "the girls"

Don't get me wrong, I think Ashlyn is a beautiful name too. I'm just making my case for Megan.

Why not wait until she is born then decide? You'll know when you look at her if she's a Megan or Ashlyn. That's what we did with both kids, although we were pretty sure about Alec before he was born.
