This is gross! - Kirby Vacuums
moped wrote: I let them come in and shampoo my carpets today and I had to sit and listen to them for an hour but it was oooooooo sooo worth it.....they showed me all the dust and dirt that came out of the couch, tv screen, pillows, our mattress, it was freaking unbelieveable. In seconds there was HUGE dust going on and our furniture is not even 2 years old.........I thought I had a good vacuum but she proved me wrong.....YUCK!!!!!!!!!
luvbug00 replied: LOL I didn't know Kerbie vaccumes were real!! I've heard of them in movies and stuff .. how funny!!
moped replied: They are real and they work for a mere $2500.00
I should take a picture of the dirt pile she left me
A&A'smommy replied: yeah that is kinda why I'm glad we have wood floors now its SOOO much better for allergies!
MommyToAshley replied: $2500 Really? OMG, you could almost get new carpet for that!
paradisemommy replied: you can get them way cheaper on e-bay..most of that is their commission..we love kirby vacuums..
akbutterfly83 replied: LOL.. I useto sell them here in alaska.... yes they are good vacuums, but not worth the money.... sorry to say... and they are cheeper here.... they are only $1900 here, then they have a $100 off if you let them come in and show you all that stuff, then if you give them your old vacuum they give you a trade in price off too..... but still... not worth it, cause the dycen does the dame except shampoo, for less... LOL.... and there are better shampooers.. LOL... jmo... cause I sold them....
akbutterfly83 replied: Don't get me wrong, they are good vacuums, but arn't worth what they sell them for.... that's all....
Boys r us replied: Yeah they've come to my house too...and it is amazing what they can get out of your carpets!! We only have carpet in the kid's bedrooms..so $2500 isn't worth it for that, plus I don't think I could ever give up my Central Vac system.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Yeah...it`s like the Tristar vaccuum. Isn`t it disgusting the crap they pull off our supposedly clean carpets and couches?
Ew.
I paid for it though... I got it. LOVE it!!!
Mommy2BAK replied: thats cool Jen, I should so that, DH has allergies and that may help, but we only have carpet in our bedrooms so it wouldn't really be worth the $, ya know?
moped replied: And you should see the way it cleaned my hardwood - WOWOWOWOWOWOW
Kaitlin'smom replied: I let them do that one year and to be honest I was nto impressed and the fact they wanted to pour salt on my carpet to show me how well it sucked it up no go and they even had it dwon to $1500 no to much for a vacumme, my sitter got one sure it worked good but it kept breaking down and the lenght of time to repai was 3-4 week she eventually got a full refund
TeagansMom609 replied: My ex boyfriend used to sell them, and I went with him once to demonstrate how it works to someone. He asked them, "What do you think the dirtiest part of your house is?". Of course, most people said bathroom first, then kitchen. Well suprisingly it is your bed he said. Then he got a black filter. It was flat like a peice of paper and put it in the vacuum, vacuumed a section of their bed. Took the filter out, and there was about an inch of white looking dust just sitting on it. IT WAS DEAD SKIN CELLS!!! It was so freaking gross. It might work good, but I would never spend $2000 + on a vacuum.
My mother has a Meile, and that cost her $1,700. It works really good, but I just think thats insane to pay that much. I will stick with my Hoover Wind Tunnel! LOL
Maddie&EthansMom replied: We own a Kirby. They last forever! Ours is pretty old and it recently had to be worked on, but it works like new! Luckily they have service places everywhere.
jem0622 replied: Amen! That is what sold us! We have one, as did my mother and grandmother.
