BAC'sMom replied: I hope it's her this has gone on long enough. But the remains could also be connected to the Trenton Duckett case, he was never found either and was from the same area.

Me too! I remember when the case first broke...my mother said "Her mother killed her". Gosh, that just gave me chills.

BAC'sMom replied: They just had an interview on Fox with Tim Miller with Texas Equusearch and he said that his sources are saying that the search for Caylee's remains are over. Sounds like they are pretty sure it's her.

Why aren't they seeking the death penalty?

boyohboyohboy replied: I have been praying that they would find that little girl and be able to put her body to rest. I watched the larry king interview with the parents last night and was so amazed at how clueless her parents are right now. It made me think of Jennifers post about how far do you stick up for kids when you know they have done something wrong.
The circles cindy anthony talked in last night was just so amazing that she had convinced herself that caylee was alive..it was heartbreaking. I feel so bad for them too. I dont think no matter what evidence they find, that she will ever be able to wrap her mind around the idea her dgt did something so horrible.

I also wondered about the duckett case...

Danalana replied: yeah, I don't believe the grandparents had anything to do with it or that they were trying to cover it up. Caylee was the center of their world, and they wanted to cling to hope that she was alive. I'm sure it made them angry when people talked about her being dead. I can't imagine what a dark day this is for them.

boyohboyohboy replied: I dont think they will believe it. they were telling larry king last night that the nanny who casey said took and had watched caylee , was not the right person the police questioned, that she had the same name but there were 11 other people in their town with that name and the police just questioned the wrong one...so they feel the nanny still has her.

its just incedible the things that we can make ourselves see and believe sometimes. i do feel so bad for them too. its going to devistate them, but i think they will spend the rest of their lives looking for her no matter what.

me too, there are few instances that i agree with this punishment, but harming a child the way she has been harmed deserves this..
and the fact that she still sits so smug and full of lies just makes the punishment even more fitting for this horrific crime..

You hate to say or hear that anyone hopes it's her body... but this case need's closure and if it is her body, nothing was going to change the outcome. At least this will bring an end to the search.

And, as mentioned... if it's not her body, it's the body of someone else's child.
