The world's fattest guiena pig! - are they supposed to get this big???

They are fun! He is a good pet and I have come enjoy his little sounds! He comes to the corner of his cage when Tay calls him. But I wasn't expecting him to get that big! LOL!

That guinea pig is HUGE!! I've had several that never made it to grow that big.  I knew they could get pretty big, though.

Thank you! You have some pretty babies yourself!!! Floppy is only 9 months old-how long do they grow??? We used to go to the zoo all the time and you know those Cababaras they look like a HUGE guinea pig..Taylor used to say look momma Floppy's daddy! I think she may be right! LOL!

I have 2 pairs of feety PJ's, and I love them! They are so comfey and warm! DH hates when I wear them. He says they make me look like Cindy Brady, and that is Creepy. I got mine at Target.
jcc64 replied: He's a bruiser. They will basically eat until they explode. The way I see it, what other pleasure do they really have in life. Mine's a bachelor, and will remain so. (my mom had the brilliant idea to get a male and female when I was a kid. We wound up with 36!). I adore guinea pigs- they really do make great pets. They're very affectionate, have distinct personalities, and are even capable of being house broken. Here's a pic of mine, "Blackfoot", who although pretty chubby, cannot contend with yours in the sheer bulk competition.

Blackfoot has really neat markings! We have seen a few since we got Floppy that are marked like that...they are very social creatures and I do feel bad sometimes that he does not have a furry friend but we got sooooooo lucky with his personality that I would be sad if we got another one that was not so loving! And thanks for nixing the wife idea-36 babies!
