sparkys2boys wrote: At supper Cam's lose tooth was bothering him so he asked me to yank it out..lol so I did for him and then him and Logan are in the livingroom later on talking and saying that they wished the tooth fairy would leave them both some money etc etc.. well low and behold not two hours later Logan had a tooth fall out while eating a granola bar It was soooo funny to hear them laughing about it and saying now they would both get money!
Now you see the tooth fairy had already ran out to get cash for the first one and then had to go back out the SECOND time for more money..lol... poor poor tooth fairy, her job is never done I tell ya
AlexsPajamaMama replied: thats too funny! how much money does the tooth fairy leave them?
sparkys2boys replied: Is to much the wrong answer..lol?? We give them $5.00 a tooth I know I will get some slack here on this amount but it's ok. They are only small once and so worth it to see the looks on there face's when they wake up!!!!
AlexsPajamaMama replied: They are only small once, you are right! They make out well with the tooth fairy! I honestly dont know how much we will leave Alex when he loses his teeth.
sparkys2boys replied: Well, it was going to be $5.00 for the first tooht only and then $2.00 after that.. well.... that went down the drain after the first time, then they sorta were expecting it..lol
DillsMommy replied: The tooth fairy here leaves $5 each time too. Great minds think alike.
grandma replied: Inflation hits everyone, back in the day...we got like 50 cents....lol
HuskerMom replied: That's funny!
jacobsmama replied: LOL that is a great story!!
I remember getting a dollar and being so SUPER excited but 5 bucks now days is equivelant to 1.00 LOL
Someone said it earlier, inflation LOL
luvmykids replied: We leave $2 and it's still not enough if you ask my kids
How fun for them to lose a tooth on the same day, I bet they'll laugh about that over Christmas dinner when they have their own kids
lesliesmom replied: Well, the tooth fairy was busy this weekend. She was at our house Saturday night. DS finally lost his first tooth.
Our tooth fairy is cheap... we (I mean she) leaves a silver dollar for the first tooth and then a "gold" dollar (the presidential ones) for each tooth after that.
forourkiddos replied: That is so very cute. I am not looking forward to the bleeding part of loosing teeth. But I will deal with those little bits of blood when the time comes. Can't wait for the tooth fairy and to teach my son about her. Funny, I haven't really thought about the $. Probably will do what is available or better yet, make it a motivating factor to brush really well and reward based on how clean the tooth is, free of cavities, etc. What do you think? Athena
