The fire - is so close!!

I put our valuable papers, Iain's baby book and medical file, our wedding pictures, and my laptop in the car just in case. Dh's coworker's family lost everything, but they are all safe. They have a 2 year old. Can you imagine?? It's so sad. I hope these winds die down soon. It looks like the apocalypse is happening outside--the sky is orange!!

Daddy of Schnoogly replied: Well, we're still ok, but it's a good thing we didn't put Iain in day care today. His day care is now just inside of a MANDATORY evacuation zone. I can't imagine how hard and scary it would have been to go get him through that.
