I know it's an old movie, but we watched it again tonight, and I was just thinking how awful the ending was. I swear, I always hold out hope that he isn't really dead...but he always is

cameragirl21 replied: My dad loves that movie but I never got into it, I saw it was on some HBO type channel last night but I didn't watch it, I watched United 93 (for the millionth time) instead. Now THERE's a movie with a bad ending.

Danalana replied: If you haven't seen it, you really need to. As much as the ending hurt my feelings, it is a great movie. There's some sweet stuff in it!

Teesa®© replied: I never watched that one, but did see I Am Legend with Will Smith. Good movie, but the ending has was totally lame and very disappointing

You know, after ALL these years of Stephen King movies, ya'd think I'd LEARN NOT to watch them!! lol

This is one book I'd never read first... unlike Cujo, and that ending was horrible, too ... so I didn't know what the story was all about [other than from the commercials].

I re-wrote the ending of The Mist in my head to make me feel better, and tried to convince myself that it's the real ending
