The New Me

Mommy2Isabella wrote: WOW! It has been some time since I have been on here. I miss the boards. I have been so busy with life and everything inbetween.

The kids are growing, we have moved to a new house in SC still, I know at one point we were possibly moving up north, those plans got cancelled. We are VERY involved with our church.

Isaia is going on 10 months, and still breastfeeding. We are working on getting him to sleep through the night right now. He weight 25.5lbs smile.gif he is def. healhty.

Isabella, is in school 2 days a week, and loves it. She has recently potty trained herself and we happily obliged to that. She is also taking gymnastics which she LOVES.

Sal is working, and coaching boys team gymnastics at the same gym Bella takes gymnastics. He was also asked to become certified to judge the boys meets. He will be going to do that this weekend.

Jessica, well thats me. I am still a stay at home mom, I currently do not care for any children but my own. A huge stress relief for me, I was taking care of my niece and nephew. I no longer do that, I am enjoying the time to just be a mom to our children and a wife to my husband. We have recently embarked on a debt diet smile.gif we have more debt than I care to mention and we have really decided we are ready to be done with that. A large chunk of our debt is in our 2 vehicles and the other weighty portion is in medical bills accrued from having Isaia.

I am open to any advice anyone has on how to cut expenses and increase cash flow to get out of debt quicker. I am glad to be back. I am the new re-invented Jessica. I have made some changes in my life for the better and I can't wait to get back into the swing of things.

Congrats to all the Pregnant mommies!! There are quite a few of you! We are getting back on the band wagon in August of 2009.

lisar replied: Its good to have you back. And I think alot of us are going thru a "debt" thing right now. It sucks I know. I want out of debt also.

PrairieMom replied: Hey! welcome back! I have missed you!

My advice for getting out of debt is to do Dave Ramsey's financial peace university classes. We took it though our church, and it has totally changed our lives! thumb.gif I highly recommend it, although, I will warn you, its not easy. dry.gif

Mommy2Isabella replied: Thank you all for the welcome back!

We do have angelfood ministries near us. I thought you had to be like under a certain income though.

We have done the Dave Ramsey classes its the discipline part we are having a hard time with.

Sickeningly enough, we make PLENTY of money. We just made some STUPID mistakes, IE: The Satrun Outlook we took over for my mother ... BOO its $640 A MONTH. That a lot of money!!!

Oh well, we are on the way to being debt free, eventually.

I will post pictures soon. It is still a little crazy, we moved and ugh what a disaster that was. The house we moved into (where we lived about a year ago before we bought our townhome) was infested with roaches, the carpets were filthy, the toilet is leaking, the place was trashed, there was a leaky spot in the roof and mold had started on the ceiling. GROSS!!
So we are finally all fixed up and back to living life out of a closet instead of a suitcase!!

I am hoping to get some photos up later today or tonight, dependent upon Isaia's nap or lack thereof!

luvmykids replied:
Nope, you just have to place your order by a certain time each month.
