Anyway - hugs to you, Troy and both little guys - try to stay well - the only thing worse than sick kids is being sick yourself

Cece00 replied: Sounds like us over here. Jack & Natalie are both sick- fevers, snotty noses, cough...they are being huge PIA's. I know they dont feel good, but I cant wait for them to be better. Natalie is esp being a pain...everything is NO, wait YES. "Do you want grapes?" "NO!!!!" (I put up grapes). "I WANT GRAPES!"

At least the rest of us havent caught it....yet

We don't do flu shots. Tanner also doesn't take kindly to shots, meaning he has some pretty bad reactions to them so it's like a lose-lose situation with him. Hopefully Aiden wont get it. I guess half of Tanner's K class was out sick yesturday. Lovely.

I have also been sick since last week, but nothing too major...knock on wood. Troy also just got over bronchitis. Anyone want to come and visit our house???

I KNOW! Especially Tanner...Mister Dramatic. The wind could hit him the wrong way and he'd spaz over it.

Kentuckychick replied: Ick! The flu is nasty and widespread this year and I saw on the news the other day where the shot is doing more harm than good this year. It's only protecting against about 30-40% of flu strands (who didn't see that coming?!). Connor woke up from his nap vomiting about three weeks ago (we found out later that it was because his fever was so high -- he didn't act sick before his nap) He was in the emergency room by that evening. They made an appointment the next day and the flu test came back positive. Caydence was feverish and raspy by the next day and Nichole ended up with it too. All told she was home from work with both of them and was sick herself for two straight weeks (luckily some of that was snow days).

It is definitely NO fun!

My2Beauties replied: Oh gosh hon I can so relate. I got a horrible sinus infection, then a kidney infection I had to go to the hospital over, then ended upw ith Strep Throat. DH and Desiree both had the stomach flu. Hanna has been coughing non-stop for weeks now, she was sick about 4 weeks ago with some bacterial infection along with Aubrey. Then 3 days after Aubrey starts feeling better from the bacterial infection she gets an ear infection....it's non-stop!

A&A'smommy replied: yuck I can't imagine having them both sick at the same time!!!! I hope they both get over it quickly!!!! We had the flu too it was AWFUL so I know how Tanner feels!!

Insert Aiden here. We can come over. We have had pink eye!! : No flu yet..that will be next week, or I hear chicken pox is going around here also.

CP!?! Yuck!

Aiden's temp went up to 103.7 today. He has either been sleeping or cuddling with me in the rocking chair all day. I love the cuddles because I normally don't get them, but I know it's just not him. Tanner is actually doing a bit better today. Slight temp, but at least he is not confining himself to our room on his little fold out couch in front of the tv and actually up doing a few things a bit at a time.
