I had a 3D with my last one, I dont know that they did them when Jake was born, at least it wasnt offered to me, but andrew had these jowels that we swore looked like a basset hound and sure enough when he was born there they were!

Now we really can't wait to meet her! The owner of the place was so sweet and printed Tay out her own 'big sister' photo...Bill and I both were just in awe of seeing her face. His mom went with us and was so excited too...it was an awesome day!

The guy I go to does the 4D now and only charges $75. he said he will start looking at 24 weeks (he said there is a 2-week window where you will get the best picture), but he won't charge til we get the best picture Just 5 more weeks...I can't wait!

My doctor said they are just for "fun" Same translation I am guessing! The guy who owned this place (and did the scan) owned MRI clinics in LA and just moved here recently...he was so NOT from Texas but he was so sweet. Those cheeks have us cracking up too...It makes it so hard to wait to hold her!

Our hospital actually does have a 4D u/s machine, but they still didn't offer me one when I had mine done. I had a lovely 4D u/s of my empty uterus after my m/c though.

The funny thing is I have a 2D at my OB's office tomorrow because he feels like she is big and he wants to check on the size of the fibroid....I told Tay and she is like-Thats cool. can't we go back to the 3D place? That was so much FUN! This is the kid who asks every single appointment if we get to see Teagan today and now 2D just isn't the fun it was before!

I had one around 30 or 32 weeks with my youngest, he had his face smushed into my placenta but we got some decent pics...

My3LilMonkeys replied: I know I am in the minority as I think 4D ultrasounds are kinda creepy looking generally She is adorable though!
