Thankful Thursday - what are you thankful for this week...

I am thankful that my cat Booty quit peeing in the hallway for now!

I am thankful that my brother is doing well in college and has found a fraternity and almost done with "hazing" even though they say it isn't hazing!
I am thankful it is almost Spring!!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOO! and my horses will have green grass to eat instead of having to eat hay everyday!

I am thankful I remembered it was IBCLC day yesterday and was able to remember to send a card and pictures of Kylie to our lactation consultant
I am thankful that my nose is finally starting to feel better, hehehehe.
I am thankful I get to go visit my friends down south this weekend.
I am thankful that my dad is going to turn 50 tomorrow and is still very healthy.
I am thankful I exercised some this week, although I am not thankful for the weight gain, lol.
I am thankful that Kylie's new bedroom outfit is arriving tonight so I can finally have a comfortable bed to co-sleep with her on .

And most of all I am thankful I have such a great support system on this board. You are all so wonderful to me and I thank you for that.

Okay, I'm sure I have a zillion more things to be thankful for, but I'll stop here

I'm thankful that my allergies have not actually killed me yet....they just make me wish I was dead

I'm thankful that I finally got to put away the 3-6 month sleepers that K has been wearing for over a year. They still fit but are a bit too short now.

I'm thankful that my DH took this afternoon off and is picking K up and taking her to the park so she can have fun instead of being stuck around my crotchety old self

I'm thankful for coffee and benedryl...and naps

I am thankful for God's love for me and how it has provided me with strength and perserverance through difficult times

I did!! I did!! I hate hummus! LOL! I worked for a doctor who is originally from Palestine and his wife used to make it for the office. I never acquired a taste for it.



I have mixed emotions today. I am thankful this is the last day I will be pg b/c I get to meet Ethan tomorrow...*sniff* But, this is the last day I will ever be pg so I'm kind of sad.

Focus on the positive.....

I am thankful my best friend made it into town to be here for the birth. and I am thankful that she came over today to take me to lunch. I love her so much (and I got to see Carsyn) Having her here means the world to me. She has been my best friend for 25 years.

I am thankful that my mother is able to make it in for the birth and stay with me for a few days.

I am thankful that DH took off on Tuesday and spent the day with me. We had a great day. And I am thankful that he will be able to take off tomorrow to be there when Ethan is born.

I am thankful that I am packed and have everything ready for Ethan!!

I am so thankful for my wonderful family and friends.

I am thankful for you guys and how loved you made me feel this week when you asked about me.

ellejames replied: I am new here - just found this place.... and I am thankful that I found this topic cause I have been having a SH*tty week so far.. and as I sit here drinking my glass of wine and reading everyone elses responses to what they are thankful for - I feel abit ashamed of myself ~ being that my life is pretty darn good and I have ALOT to be thankful for. That being said, it doesn't take away what brats my boys are being lately and how disconnected I feel with my dh. Oh well.... I don't want to drag you wonderful women into my pity party. Sounds like you have a great bunch here! And reading what everyone else wrote did kick me in the butt abit.

(he did LAUNDRY!!! in cawse yo udon't know...laundry + DH is a NO NO around here... and he mixed up the detergent with bleach bottle with the regular baby detergent bottle... so guess what happened?!



Oh well... I guess I am thankfull that he thought of me a *little* by taking one load of laundry off my shoulders... *sigh* Men!

I am thankfull that I have a bit of down time tonight... EMilie is being especially good tonight, as oppoed to other nights, where she need a bit nmore...*attention*

I am thankfull that i'm still 75% breastfeeding, because I can't find my birth control pills.

and most of all...i'm thankfull for all those around me who care about me and who I can care for in return
