I lived for a long time in a "fising villiage" in Puerto Rico so a lot of what we ate was swimming just hours before it was on the plate. One thing I could never finish was the conch though. My mom would make it and then shove it back into the shell and serve it like that. As a kid that was a bit much. She would also put tooth picks in the antenae so they stood up. It still looked alive.

My2Beauties replied: I'm not a big seafood fan, didn't like crab when I tried it, too bland (too much work for what little meat you get out of it ) and I won't try lobster because they cook them alive, I think it's cruel and ick, they pee in their own water Anyways I love love clams though. If they cook them alive...well then oh well I love 'em anyways LOL! I just know they cook lobster alive so I won't try it, but if anyone knows if they cook clams alive, please don't spill the beans! LOL LOL LOL

That show truly does make you appriciate what it takes to bring some of the things we take for granted to the table! I always think the same thing when I watch Bill work...If people only knew wat it takes to bring them a hamburger!

Crab and steak were my only cravings when I was pregnant with Katy....and I craved them for 9 months straight. Now she will take steak or crab over any other food any day of the week
