Tay's BIG recital was yesterday!! - It was AWESOME! pics inside...

It was priceless! She did so well in both her dances and has been so excited since then! My mom and a few of my siblings came down and watched and then we went swimming at their hotel (they did not want to drive all the way to our house because they left early this am) It was a really special day and we arew soooo proud of our ballerina!

She looks SOOOO cute! I can just imagine how darling she was on stage. WTG TAY!!! The costumes are precious, too.

I am not too thrilled about the costumes for Ashley's first recital -- they're red and sparkly (too old for them, I think). I wish she had something like the ones Tay is wearing.

I am sorry! I was so worried about the same thing.The line between cute and girly and UHOH is so thin and gets crossed way too often at the recitals I have been to (her daddy,especially, would NOT have gone for anything like some of what I had seen! ) I was so happy when we saw the pictures of these ! It made me laugh at myself to realize I AM one of THOSE moms! Good Luck to Ashley on her big day! It is so fun for them
