Tamara - mommy2bak

moped wrote: SO you are ahead of me but I thought you could tell me when you started feeling the flutters and movement???? With Aiden I mean.

Thanks

Mommy2BAK replied: I don't think I remember exactly, but I know it was in between my 16 and 20 week appts. And those were definate kicks. But I think Ayden is just a whole lot stronger than Blakely was, his kicks have been to the point where they actually hurt for some time now, I think I'm going to come out of this with a few bruised ribs. dry.gif

moped replied: Should I worry that i haven't really yet?

Mommy2BAK replied: NOT AT ALL! My doctor was even suprised when I told her I could feel him kicking, she said "ohhh but I'm sure dad hasn't been able to feel them quite yet" but actually he had. rolleyes.gif

moped replied:
Ok good - I go for an appt today and I didn't want him thinking i should have felt it by now!

You have a future kickbozer in there!

punkeemunkee'smom replied: Jen I wouldn't worry at all! Taylor was the laziest baby in the world and it took forever to feel her on a regular basis. I was probably 5 month along before Bill could feel her and that was with me pressing his hand to my belly. Some babies also kick alot toward your back which can cause spasms that women often associate with back pain not baby movement wink.gif You will be getting woken up in the middle of the night with a good round house to the bladder soon enough emlaugh.gif

Mommy2BAK replied: ooh how exciting, I LOVE going to appointments! Even if they do last only 30 minutes and cost me $176 dry.gif rolleyes.gif

moped replied:
I am in and out in about 10 minutes and a quick pee in a cup!!!! And no money here, but you have a midwife right????

moped replied:
I kow it was about 22 weeks with Jack but I jsut heard it starts earlier with 2nd children - I should be more patient eh!

Cece00 replied: I couldnt feel stuff for awhile with Jack. Turns out my placenta was covering a lot of the front of my uterus, so it was cushioning the kicks & punches. My BF is also pregnant & she has the same thing (uterus in the front) & couldnt feel anything for awhile...

Mommy2Isabella replied: My uterus is WAY tilted .. whatever that means ... LOL!! It can make delivery and checks RATHER DIFFICULT!!

Anyhow, I have already started to feel some flutters ... I guess that is WAY EARLY! I didnt feel a darn thing with Bella until I was I guess 20 weeks. I suppose that is early either way.

I am SUPER tiny before pregnancy so that could be the cause of my early kicks!

Cece00 replied:
FYI

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I felt all of mine really early.

Jess - I was SUPER tiny when I got pregnant with my first. Skin and bones tiny. Unhealthy looking tiny. Size 2 tiny. 21 inch waist tiny. My doctor told me that feeling the flutters early has absolutley no bearing with how skinny you are - it has to do with where the baby is placed in relation to the uterine wall. If the baby is close to the wall, you might feel a flutter rather than if the baby is just floating in liquid and kicking into empty air. I used to think the same thing. But nope...fat people like me can feel babies earlier than skinny minnies like you sometimes. laugh.gif

Mommy2BAK replied:
as opposed to us all being fat or what?? emlaugh.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: LMAO! emlaugh.gif I was gonna say...Tam you are pretty dang tiny yourself! happy.gif

TANNER'S MOM replied: I have seen Tam in person and she gives the meaning to the word Super Model. I mean almost 6 ft tall and size nothing. She is built like a brick house. I was embarrased of my own body but you know..she was so sweet and always telling me how good I looked when I began to lose weight. That's whatg I love about her. She never judged me.

I have had 3 children. I felt Tanner about 4 months. Anything before that was prolly just gas.. rolling_smile.gif

Mommy2BAK replied: Mel and Aimee... you two are CRAZY! wacko.gif

But thanks for the confidence boost! smile.gif

Boys r us replied: Jen....you know, that dainty little girl is just not as aggressive as her big brother Jack:)

you know I haven't been around like I should..so fill me in, are you finding out the gender? or have you already? wub.gif
