Talk about attached to her blankie!

mummy2girls wrote: I decided to wash jenna blankey because she drags it on the ground when she walks. Now that she is walking she has to have her blankie and its so darn long it drags...LOL.

She screamed when i took it to throw it in the wash. I got her playing with her toys and soon she forgot about her balnkie. I went to go put the wash in the dryer and jen came with me. She saw her balnkie in the dryer and was trying to get it out..LOL. She was pulling at it , trying to detangle it from the other clothes and was bawling...broke my heart.

She just loves this thing!

here she is at age 5 months when she just started to get attached.. wub.gif

5littleladies replied: That is a cute picture!! wub.gif I wish Brianna was attached to something like a blanket. She prefers her fingers and I don't think I can find a way to take those away from her! happy.gif

AshleyRose replied: actually you might not wish your child was attached to a blankey or something... because they might end up like me.... blush.gif

Here's the story... emlaugh.gif

I was blessed with a beautiful white blankey when I was a baby. I became attached to it. Loved it so much for until I was 7. It looked like a knotted string by the end of its life. It wasn't even a blankey anymore. Since it was a big rope-like thing I lost it easily bawling.gif !!!! Then I found another one shortly after that I had when I was a baby too. It was very colorful and cute. I had it up to I was 16 because I let my friend who was going through surgery take it with her. She was put to sleep and woke up with no blankey bawling.gif !!! She TRIED to replace it with a blankey of hers that looked a lot like the one I lost but I couldn't become attached. So I met my ex-boyfriend that I was with for almost 2 years and he gave me his blankey that he had when he was a little baby and I gave him my "blankey". He actually slept with it every night and brought it to his friends house. It was cute cuz I didn't feel so strange being 18 carrying around a blankey. I couldn't and still cannot sleep without him!! My fiance now thinks I have got severe mental problems rolling_smile.gif ! Either way, blankey is my best friend and I love him like a person. It is so weird but I don't think I will ever be able to let him go.... blush.gif . He has been there through everything and always made me feel good when he was in my arms. I just hope I wont lose this one! Hes so big and snuggly!! blush.gif

I probably sound like a lunatic... but I hope I don't unsure.gif ... just love my blankey blush.gif

Kirstenmumof3 replied: wub.gif AWWWWW Claudia is the same way. When we take her out of her crib she has to have it. We won't let her bring it to Daycare though, I'm so affraid she will loose it there. I decided to wash it on Monday when she was at Daycare and I put it out on the clothesline. When we got home from picking her up at Daycare I told her that her blanky was on the Clothesline and she went running to the backporch. When she saw it haning on the line she starting giggling and just couldn't wait for me to bring in from the line! laugh.gif

aspenblue1 replied: Aww that is how Isabella is with her blankie!

Kaitlin'smom replied: awwww, she it to cute!

Kaitlin loves blankets, she has two that are the same just different things on them one for home and one at the sitters, then she has a different one in her crib, she loves curling up with them

Sherry replied: There is just something special about those fuzzy blankets.

Here is a non-moving picture of Jessie's first love (her blanket). wub.gif

kimberley replied: awww how sweet! Jenna is so tiny and adorable!! wub.gif

Sherry, Jessie is such a cutie! wub.gif

chloe&tysmommy replied: Cute picture of Jenna!! wub.gif

I can totally relate!!! Chloe has a favorite blankey that she carries around ALL the time! It drives me nuts sometimes...even when she plays she's holding onto it. I can't even change her without it being there!

Today when she wasn't watching I put it in her crib so when she's ready for her nap it will be in there...didn't work-- she found it!!!

coasterqueen replied: What a cute picture of Jenna!!!!! Bless her heart. I hope you got it washed and dried quickly, lol.

Kylie has never been attached to blankets so far no matter how hard I tried to get her to. tongue.gif

DansMom replied: Oh, that photo is too darn cute! wub.gif She loves her blankie, that's for sure!!

pinka_star replied: awww wub.gif

I was never really attached to a blanky, I was more of a binky girl, and Emma is as well. She can't go anywhere without that silly binky.
