TODAYS THE DAY! - I'm telling my mom

i would call her but she is at work and her work line is always busy and when she's at work she leaves her cell phone in the car. she checks her e-mail before she leaves work and when she gets there. or atleast the one i'm emailing the news to she checks that often because its not her work e-mail. so, that destroys the risk of having her upset at work and have to leave early which would be bad considering she has a world of work to do.
and i've stopped lying when i say i do not care what her reaction is, because i dn't. its going to be her opinion and her choice and i fully respect that because i love her so much.....wish me luck and send lots of prayers and hugs my way.

(wish the butterflys in my stomach would stop playing in the oatmeal i just ate that would help.)

i just thought she ought to know. i'm out of my first trimester. things are going very well. i cant keep hiding this from her..i do not feel its the mature or the right thing to do....

jem0622 replied: I'm sure she has concerns as any parent would have about their child. I'm sure that she wants Matt to understand her expectations and talk about responsibilities. It's hard with talks like that because everyone gets emotional and defensive. Just be sure that everyone talks in turn. Otherwise you'll have a full blown argument and you should all listen to one another.

beckamouse replied: quick update. mom and i are planning a mother daughter trip to Dallas for a week before the little wedding (big one to come later) and she wants to come with me to the doctors appointments so thats very cool.


sometimes i feel like i've entered the twilight zone then i think don't knock it just go with what ya got because its pretty darn good.

i just watched buffy and Spike has this one line where he says love's a funny thing and yeah thats true but if you let it be, life is really funny too. you just have to look past the crazy not-fun parts because something betters always hiding behind it. it may take a whole lot of time before you see it but trust me its there. this whole discussion is proof that lifes "a funny thing"

Mom's can be wierd sometimes,(funny saying that since I am one now) but usually they will do what the can to support you no matter what.
