TGIF... what are you doing this weekend?
MommyToAshley wrote: We might get MIL to babysit tonight so we can go see a band play. As for the rest of the weekend, it is suppose to rain, so not sure yet.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Absolutely NOTHING!!! (hopefully!! lol!)
dhoppygirl replied: We don't have any definate plans, so I think I am going to finish a few projects...balance the checkbook, work on Peyton's baby book, and if it doesn't rain, work in the yard!!! Hopefully, we'll be able to get a babysitter and see the new X-Men movie!
Kaitlin'smom replied: nothing tonight (oh DH is going to see x-man) Saturday going to 'lunch/dinner' with my mom 2 sisters, neice and my little one. its a girls only mothers day celebration! (I know a little early, but its the only time we could all go)
ashade75 replied: Are you going with Chris? We were thinking about it but not sure.
maliksmommy replied: Me and my sister are going garage saleing (sp?) tomorrow, hoping to find some good bargains:) Sunday is my nephews birthday party we hope it doesn't rain!
supermom replied: I have some things I need to get out and plant in the yard, but it might rain, we'll have to wait and see if that happens.
Then I need to get some sewing done, my "old" PG clothes are winter, and I have been "getting by" with some loose-fitting dresses and skirts, but I really NEED to have a few more PG clothes, so I made a pattern, cut it out and have been working on it a little in the evenings, I really NEED to get at least the one dress done, maybe two if I get a chance.
One of my dd turns 14 today, and she's having a few friends over tonight, we'll celebrate tomorrow night with dinner out, that's their favorite BD treat.....so I have to run after work for pizza and pop for the hungry hoarde! That will be the last kids' BD for this year (except the "real" BD in August - lol) so I am kinda glad it'll be done with.
Oh, also have to find some time to start planning oldest DS graduation party - he graduates HS two weeks from Sunday......ARGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
No wonder I am so tired all the time - rofl!
MomToMany replied: Tonight, we have to drive the boys down to their dad's , which is a 2-hour drive one-way (we meet half-way), so that kills tonight!
Saturday, there's a surprise birthday party for DH's grandma (Hannah's great-grandma) that we are going to. We'll go see my sister, too, who happens to be having a garage sale (coincidence? I think not!).
Sunday, DH will get a couple pick-up loads of sand for the sandbox he built for the boys. I'll end up cleaning the house all by myself (that dreaded laundry again ) and try to hang as much laundry outside as I can (it will go faster that way, too). Then we'll have to go pick up the boys again.
Busy, Busy!
MommyToAshley replied: Happy Birthday to your DD, and congratulations to your DS! You have lots to celebrate!
ashade75 replied: Happy Birthday to your DD!!
And congrats to your DS!! What are his plans... College, tech school, armed forces, entering the work force or was he like me- undecided for awhile?
momofajcl replied: Dh works tomorrow so I'm having a friend over so she can make her potato salad...she doesn't have the recipe written down so I'll make some as she is doing hers...following what she does and trying to write it all down Other than that...my mom comes next weekend for a visit so I have some cleaning to do so I'll do that tomorrow too. Sunday, dh is taking the day off, so we are going to go to the local amusement park with friends.

momofajcl replied: That is totally awesome Sounds like a fun time...if you think cooking is fun. LOL! I miss being close enough to my mom to cook together. We always got together the beginning of December and spent all day baking Christmas cookies to give out and to keep and eat Now we are 3,000 miles apart
Lori_JanuaryMom replied: I will be doing nothing this weekend! BF has to work from 7am to 7pm all weekend so it will just be me and the girls most of the time. It is supposed to rain everyday so I have a feeling the three of us might just stay in our pjs and watch movies all weekend. Now next weekend is a different story! My mom is watching the girls and one of our dogs, poor mom, and we are going to Gatlinburg, TN for the weekend!!!!! I am sooooo excited the trip is our Christmas present from my parents so it isn't costing us anything and we'll have 2 whole days alone in a beautiful cabin in the mountains!!!
supermom replied: Now that sounds like a fun weekend!!!
Thanks everyone for the well wishes for my DS and DD - they thought it was neat - and I appreciate it.
Spent part of the weekend trying to get ready for a garage sale - I've got so much crud, I have GOT to get rid of it so we can get the car back in the garage.
