T-day was Daniel's B-day - 2 pics of Daniel with cake

Dinner was served at 6:15 (turkey took a little longer than I thought), and it was delicious. Then we had presents and cake after a little digestive break. Daniel wore himself out playing with his presents. OK, my advice for 2 year olds---those tubes that they can crawl through, and foam blocks. Daniel had a blast with those gifts. He also loved all of his books.

And here's a photo of him pretending to eat a big bite of cake. Right after this photo, he pulled the fork away and stared at the cake on the fork like it was a bug, and never actually did take a bite---not one. Then he hopped off the chair and returned to his foam blocks. I got him a vegan cake too! I guess I'll have to eat it.

He still loves his tunnel tube thing---I highly recommend, as long as you have room in your house LOL!

The tunnels sound like fun! I ordered Ashely the Megaland Pop up tent from Amazon for Christmas, and it just came in last week. It looks like so much fun, it's so hard not to give it to her early. Is this the same thing that Daniel got for his birthday?
DansMom replied: Oh, Ashley will love that! What Daniel got doesn't have the house part, but it's a long tube that you can crawl through or hide inside (our cats love it too). Daniel's cousin Maya is getting a playhouse tent for Christmas. This is definitely a good age for those!
