Such a hard night last night - may be a bit graphic and hard to read

5littleladies wrote: I "officially" miscarried on Tuesday. That was hell on earth-I won't even tell you. Well I will tell you without going into detail that I ended up holding my dead child in my hand. That was not expected. I remember screaming alot and dh coming to calm me down. He was so little. His hand was the size of the top of my pinky finger. We wrapped him up (we don't know for certain it's a boy-just a strong feeling) and later dh took him up to the hospital where they will cremate him and bring his remains to a memorial for miscarried babies. I'm so glad they do that-I wouldn't have known what to do with his little body otherwise.

Last night I sat looking at ultrasound pictures, some when he was alive and kicking, some after he had passed on. I cried for I don't know how long. I don't understand! He seemed just fine-The ob even thought so. What happened in such a short amount of time that would take his little life away from me??? I know these things happen. I don't blame anyone. I just wish I had some answers.

mummy2girls replied: Oh hun i am soooo sorry that happend! that is awful for any mom to go through. I think if it happened that way i would be , well im not sure how i would react. Im glad they had a place to take him! wow hun im just not knowing the words. I usually have some kind of response to moms/dads that post here but i just am without words!

A friend of mine( i met at the church i go to) could not hold her pregnancies at all. she lost one at 14 weeks and another at 28 weeks. The doctor did run tests and she has some kind of problem in where that the babies she carried will end up get suffoctaed and she may or may not be able to have kids to term. after the second baby she gave up and they adopted. I am goign to ask her the exact name of it..

If its answers you want, perhaps ask your OB to do a 'work up' on your baby -- to see if they can find what was wrong. Alot of times they cant find any answers, but sometimes they can.

I really am sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you, your family and your little angel.

I wish we were all there right now to give you a great big hug and some shoulders to cry on. What a horrible thing for any one to have to experience. I hope that you can find peace from above and find some sort of reasoning. I wish you the best of luck in the following hours, days, weeks and months.... I can imagine that it is something that will stick with you forever. You are in my thoughts and prayers, and if you can think of anything you need, please let us all know.
