Strollers - LOL Random topic.....

six_kids_at_28 wrote: Hey all. I was just thinking we could share pictures of our strollers and how well we liked them. It could be interesting and resourceful to some parents
LOL I know, I know, I have to much time on my hands.....but nope its just that I'M ALONE IN THE HOUSE NOW redbounce.gif party.gif jazzband.gif banana.gif
LOL

six_kids_at_28 replied: This is the triplet's stroller

six_kids_at_28 replied: This is the girl's double stroller and it has one of those steps on the back for my son to ride on tongue.gif

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I have this Peg Perego Aria stroller, but in red and gray. I like how light it is and how easy it is to get around because it's not one of those huge travel systems, but I had to buy an attachable shade because the shade it comes with doesn't do it's job. But I love everything else about it. I have the infant carseat too! I will use it with my second child! PP is expensive, but I think totally worth it IMO!

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Okay, can I just ask, how do you push all of those strollers!! I don't even think I could push the triplet stroller alone!! Now I know why you're so skinny...I'm j/k! tongue.gif

six_kids_at_28 replied: LOL wink.gif
I know! You know what a hassle it is to push a long stroller full of 75 lbs of young, restless boys bawling.gif blink.gif LOL
But I only push one of them, I never go out with all 6 kids alone so someone else can push another tongue.gif
And omg...today we had to board a bus and the triplet's stroller wouldnt fold unsure.gif I had to LIFT it on board and go to the back of the bus..it took up the whole row rolling_smile.gif The bus driver had to open up the wheelchair lift in the back so that I could get out rolling_smile.gif
Meanwhile...my lil guys were just laughing wink.gif

Oh and buy the way I love Peg Perego as well smile.gif thats what the triplet stroller is. The red one is Chicco Citta. It was around $135 and the triplet stroller was PRICY ohmy.gif ohmy.gif
$640
But it is sooo worth it

That is one of mine - the other I wil have to find a pic of

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Do you like your stroller Jen??? Tell us about it. I think this post is helpful...not that I'm shopping for a new stroller, but when I was PG the first time, I researched them for months. I think DH and I went to every baby store and tried them all out beforehand. We're very picky I guess!

coasterqueen replied:
I didn't know that one had a step on the back. Interesting. Wish I would have known that. ALthough the one I saw didn't. Hmm, did you have it put on?

Ok, my first stroller is the travel system stroller that came with Kylie's car seat and I don't have a pic of it. It's Graco.

The second stroller I have (umbrella stroller) looks like this (but I have it in blue):

coasterqueen replied: Okay the double stroller I just got and absolutely love is the Chicco Twin Velocita:

Oh and I got this one on ebay MUCH cheaper than in the stores. I don't believe in paying a lot for a stroller because they grow out of them too fast, IMO. At least in our case they did wink.gif.

moped replied: Here is the other one I have - very similar except mine has air tires, which I LOVE!!!!!! I don't really use this one anymore because the other one is way easier to just throw in the car etc................

RAE - I love my little jeep - the handles come up higher and it is very nice to push - better for about 8 months and up

coasterqueen replied:
I almost got the Jeep double stroller but it didn't have baskets underneath so I went with the Chicco. But it pushed really nicely and Kylie fit in it well, which was the problem I found w/a lot of double strollers since she's so tall.

moped replied:
Yep, the only thing I miss is the basket underneath...............

six_kids_at_28 replied:

Yeah!!! redbounce.gif redbounce.gif redbounce.gif
That's the first time someone has said this on this board for me yet biggrin.gif Thanks!!
And for boogabearzmom- no it did not COME with the step, I bought it seperatley and then attached it. Sorry that I didnt make that clear

luvbug00 replied: Someday I want to get a pram..

soo cute! Does anyone have one?

coasterqueen replied:
Well that's cool that you could attach a step on there. I might try to do this with my single stroller. Is it something you bought online or rigged? I'm so curious because I'd still like to use my single stroller on occassion but it would be great for Kylie to have something to stand on there. thumb.gif

Boys r us replied: I couldn't find the exact one on Evenflo's website. But his was an evenflo elite travel system with the infant seat that pops in/out. I wouldn't have any other type for an infant..that is so handy for us mall addicted mommy's!! LOL

Not a good pic..but I haven't had any trouble out of it at all..I love it. It's got the one handed steer handle, 2 cup holders, huge basket underneath and steers really well. The handle bars also flip to either end.

Just out of curiousity..does anyone with the same age kids as brae still use their stroller?

coasterqueen replied:
Kylie would NEVER use her stroller except when she was an infant strapped inthe car seat portion. tongue.gif On occassion she'd go in it when we walked, but it was rare. She'll still go in it on ocassion though. BUT I've forced her to sit in a double stroller, especially when I'm alone with them. Well, not literally forced, but you knwo what I mean. tongue.gif

six_kids_at_28 replied:
We bought it online...heres the site

THey are around $70..I really find it helpful. James at six, doesnt want to sit in a stroller anymore but sometimes he just gets tired sleep.gif . We will use it even next year when we switch the double stroller in for a single (my daughter has just announced that when she enters 1st grade she's not going to use a stroller rolleyes.gif )
LOL..i attached a pic of it
