Strech Marks
Kaitlin'smom wrote: Ok I was wondering if anyone else has these wonderful (not really) strech marks, and if you have done anything about them, tried anything if it worked or not. Summer is comming up and I want them less noticable!
MommyToAshley replied: My doc said there is a cream available by perscription. But, he said to make sure I was done having kids because the stuff is expensive. Haven't tried it, but he said it works every time!
Kaitlin'smom replied: why do you have to be done having kids?
MommyToAshley replied: He just said that because the creme is expensive, like $100 a tube. But, I guess you could use it again and again. You might want to check to make sure it is safe with breastfeeding though.
Sorry, I did not ask him the name of the creme because I wasn't ready to use it yet.
Kaitlin'smom replied: humm, I might have to ask. since I am not planning on any more.... I was wondering if that merderma cream they talk about on tv works or not. I might just have to try it!
CantWait replied: A Good Vitamin E cream will work fade them, but they will never be totally gone.
Kaitlin'smom replied: I just want them to fade, did not really expect them to go away....all though it would be nice if they woudl just dissapear!
laura'smummy replied: Hi,
Not sure if you get it over there but Palmers Cocoa Butter worked really well for me. I think it's more to do with the moisture. If you find a miracle cure please let me know!

mckayleesmom replied: Nope...not sure of any..sorry...Im not too concerned with them though. I figure with 2 c-sections and gallbladder removal..my bikini days are over anyways. Plus nobody will see them anyways except dh and he caused half of them..so he should have to look at them
moped replied: VITAMIN E CREAM
BODY SHOP STUFF - IN A ROLL TUBE
These both work - TRUST ME
I had a c section and you can bearly see the cut and I didn't get any marks during my pregnancy because I faithfully used the body shop stuff.................and I gained well over 75 LBS......
coasterqueen replied: Mederma, OTC, is supposed to help "dull" stretch marks. I was too lazy to keep up with it after having Kylie but I plan to use it religiously after this pg.
mommy2owen replied: I havent had a probelm with strech marks(only gained 21 lbs with Owen) , but I do know that the vitamen e cream works wonders!
kimberley replied: wow, this is an ancient thread lol. glad it was brought back up tho... i have road maps all over my belly so Karen, the Mederma works after the damage is done? i heard cocoa butter and vit E only work if you use it religiously during pg.
