Strange Question

Well I am now about 60lbs lighter than when I got pregnant, Is this at all normal???? My prepregnancy clothes STILL don't even fit me They are all falling off of me.
moped replied: What do you mean? You have lost 60 pounds since being pregnant??????
coasterqueen replied: Um, I would say it's not normal. I assume it's due to stress in your life with everything going on?
Has your doctor said anything to you about the weight loss?
mom2my2cuties replied: They are attributing it to the nausea and have put me on a zofran pump, which is helping a little with the nausea. We have had a few health problems wtih her, but she is developing fine. But just 60lbs in 20 weeks seems like way way way too much. Especially since I'm supposed to be increasing caloric intake right now to help with the baby?
With the other two I lost weight but over the 9 months...This is all at once.
moped replied: Has you doctor not seemed concerned about that kind of loss?
coasterqueen replied: That's what I was wondering.
mom2my2cuties replied: Not really. he hasn't mentioned anything except putting me on the pump. Which caused another issue that landed me in the hospital for a week. I was on too much medicine for as dehydrated as I was, and it started causing kidney issues. But the dehydration was my biggest problem.
I just don't want to impeded her development in anyway I'm just wondering if anyone else experienced a dramatic wegiht loss during pregnancy.
Cece00 replied: Were you overweight before you got pregnant?
CantWait replied: I'd be very concerned and would even be getting a second opinion. That amount of weight loss seems quite excessive even if you are nauseated and vomitting frequently.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I know Lisa did, myblueeyedbabies (I think that's her user name now). Haven't seen her around in a while, but we used to hang out before she moved and I was there during her PG. She lost a lot of weight. Oh Lisa??
I agree, get a second opinion. That is a lot of weight to lose in such a short time, especially while you're PG.
holley79 replied: I was wondering the same. I know people who were obese and lost weight the entire time they were pregnant. Not sure how healthy that is either.
maestra replied: I lost 30lbs with each of my pregnancies, but I was very overweight to begin with. I also had nausea issues, but zofran pills worked for me, and it stopped at about 5 months.
mom2my2cuties replied: Yes I've always been overweight. But for once, I'm back down to a normal size (at least as normal as can be for me)
My3LilMonkeys replied: Have you taken any measurements to see where the weight is coming off?? I mean if your arms, bust, thighs etc are all getting smaller but your baby is growing maybe that's not as bad....have they done any u/s to make sure the baby is okay?
mom2my2cuties replied: At the 20 week she was doing great. And she moves about like a wild child.
The weight is coming off everywhere except my bust...Those seem to having no problems holding weight.
I guess my concern is, as long as she is healthy, I'm ok with anything that happens.
