Still in your birth town - Where are you located
CantWait wrote: Obviously I'm not, not even close and haven't been in many years.
I'm just wondering how many of you were born and raised in the place that you reside in now.
luvmykids replied: I'm not. I am back in the state I was born in (TX), but double the distance from the city I was born in. I grew up in Albuquerque, moved away for a few years during college and again for a few years when we started our business. But I still consider it home.
My3LilMonkeys replied: Close. The town I grew up in is about 5 miles from where I live now.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: I voted yes because you said town or state, and I've always lived in MN, though not in the same town. I am as of right now living in the same house that I grew up in, but it's only temporary.
Calimama replied: Nope. I never wanted to stay in my town. I love it but I want to see more of the world than just the little piece I was comfortable with.
msoulz replied: I voted yes because I am still in Michigan, still in the Detroit area but not in the same town - it's probably 30 miles away.
mom21kid2dogs replied: I never lived in the town I was born in. My parents were visiting my aunt & uncle when I decided to make a suprise appearence!
jcc64 replied: I live 100 miles away, but I return frequently to visit my mom and shop in a real mall.
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I am back in the same state but not in the same town as where I was born....but back in teh school district where I was from 5th grade on.
CantWait replied: wtg!!!!
Mommy2Isabella replied: Voted YES!!!
Born and Raised here, though I moved my mother was always here and I was here more than I was away!!
Good Ol' Charleston, SC
ZandersMama replied: I have never lived anywhere but the small town i was born in, and i have no intentions of living anywhere else.
A&A'smommy replied: nope I was born in Germany and now I live in alabama
Nina J replied: No, I was born in East Melbourne. I still live in Victoria, though.
I told my family that I want to be buried in Melbourne when I die. I actually wanted to buy my own grave a few years ago because they opened a new mausoleum (sp?) and it was so beautiful, but my whole family thought it was too weird. So I didn't. I will either be buried in the Melbourne General Cemetary or the Botanical Cemetary.
Morbid, lol.
sc_mom2five replied: No... I was born in Georgetown, SC... raised in Loris, SC (outside of Myrtle Beach) and lived there from age 1 -28. Then I met my df and moved in with him so now I live in Spartanburg, SC. I never thought I would move until I met Tim though.
TrulyBlessed replied: I am in the same state, but not the same town. I have moved around a lot but only with a 200 mile radius here in Michigan. LOL
lovemy2 replied: Yes I am in the same state and only about 10 miles for my original home town - my Mom still lives in my original home town......love it here - wish sometimes we had more spring and less winter but I do love the change of seasons...
CantWait replied: That's so cool. How long did you stay in Germany?
BAC'sMom replied: LOL not much around here to see huh Denise.
Yes same state and I live within 35 miles from where I was born.
Kaitlin'smom replied: same state yes same town no, I am about 30 minutes from where I grew up. my parents and sisters still live in that town. I kinda bounced around the area till we bought our home nearly 10 years ago.
coasterqueen replied: I was born in the city I live in, but we lived in a small town outside of the city until I was 2. Then we moved to the city I live in now at age 2. Then we moved to another area of the city when I was 10 and Ryan and I built our house down the road from where I lived as a teen - actually right across the street from where he grew up.
lisar replied: I am and I have never left. And probably never will leave either.
A&A'smommy replied: I was nearly 3 when we moved from there.. the strange thing is my VERY FIRST memory was my daddy telling me to look out the window so I could see the mountains it was beautiful (this was on the plane). My dad was in the military and when they got stationed to germany people told my parents that they would either come back with a grandfather clock or a baby they came back with me
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: I still live in the same town I grew up in. I was born about 20 miles aways from my town.
My2Beauties replied: I was born and raised here, I have never lived outside of Louisville and never plan to! I love it here.
DillsMommy replied: Nope.
Calimama replied: Now that they took my carousel away... NO!
DVFlyer replied: Nope. Born on the east coast and now live on the west coast... No real desire to move back, but I have looked up our old house in New Jersey on Google Maps. I remember it being bigger.
redchief replied: I'm not only in the same town, I'm in the same house (somewhat altered, but same address) that I grew up in.
youngmomofone replied: Nope, born in Houston, TX, lived in Channelview, TX, moved to Cleveland, TX, then dh and I got married and we moved to Louisiana. We are fixing to move in 4 wks either back to TX or to TN.
