Still in Dallas.... - but I have some INCREDIBLE news!!!!!!!

It has been a long few days for us but God is answering the prayers that are being lifted for Nolan! Today was an awesome day! Nolan laughed,pointed to a movie that Taylor brought him, and said my name  He was making faces to 'joke' with our 14 year old brother. When he seemed to indicate he wanted a cheese cracker our brother asked him if he could chew...Nolan seemed to think for about 20 seconds and all the sudden he said 'barely'  I thought it was a fantastic word to use! Many concerns remain with his blood counts and he NEEDS to eat he still can not sit up or perform the physical tasks they ask him to But all in all it was an incredible improvement! He does still come in and out of it but he is also so tired that he just needs to rest! He DOES have Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever-ll the tests came back today-that makes him the first child this children's hospital has ever had and they believe the first that is absolutely originated in Texas! Thank you again for your prayers! Keep them coming! They are working!!!!!

This is definitely a turning point, and I hope he continues to recover and gains his strength back quickly. I'm sure there's going to be a lot of therapy and healing in his future, but kids are so incredibly resilient and he's got a lot going for him.
