coasterqueen replied: Well I co-slept with Kylie, but she never wanted to sleep in a crib either. So at about 10 months she'd sleep 1/2 the night in a toddler bed (converted crib) and then the other 1/2 on a twin mattress right by her bed on the floor with me. We did this song and dance for a long time before she finally slept in a bed by herself, somewhere around 3 I guess. I've lost track of exactly when she did that.

Megan slept in an Amby bed first because of reflux, then at about 9.5 months she started sleeping in her crib and we part-time coslept. She's still in her crib and I'm going to let her stay there til she doesn't want to be there anymore, just because she's more trouble than her sister ever was. Kylie would get up in the middle of the night and come straight to us if we weren't in the room. Megan tries to sneak out of a room and terrorize the whole house without us knowing.

kimberley replied: none of my kids spent much time in a crib so they went from bed to bed and it wasn't much of a transition. Jade started around 2yo, James around 3yo and Jacob around 2.5yo.

luvmykids replied: The twins went to twin beds w/rails around 2.5 or 3, my theory was when they started trying to escape the crib was when it was time to switch.

Macie went to a toddler bed at 2 but it's been a waste, it's too small and when she moves around at night she bonks some body part on the rail or headboard or footboard and wakes up crying, but she sleeps great in a twin bed.

Jamison'smama replied: Jamison went at 2 but she went from our bed to her own. Jack is 20 months and I will probably switch him sometime in the next 6 months.

My3LilMonkeys replied: Brooke switched about 1 1/2. When we had to take her crib apart to switch her room we put it back together as the toddler bed in the new room. Madison's still in a crib and will be for as long as I can keep her there safely. She's more of the get into stuff type of child.

Maddie was in her big bed (not toddler bed) at 18 mos. She did great.

flirtycuddle replied: Jackie was in her toddler bed at 11 months old. I dropped the matress at about 9 months but then she just flung her arms over and tried pulling up over the crib rail so I figured it was time. She fell out of bed onto blankets a few times but after a week or so she was fine. In a month she will be going to a twin bed and her brother will get the crib that convereted to her toddler bed. She sleeps better in a twin cuz she is a wild sleeper and a toddler bed is just to small

sunrosejenn replied: Eliana was swtiched into a toddler bed at 19 motnhs now 21 1/2 months. It didn't even phase her.

Momof3inMe replied: Emily was 2 when we convereted her crib to a toddler bed now she is almost 3 and will be getting a twin bed so we can use the crib for Leah.
