Sports - Do you watch them?
Hillbilly Housewife wrote: I don't usually - I don't enjoy it at ALL. Playing it though, now that's another story.
What's YOUR favorite sport to watch? to play?
maliksmommy replied: I was a tomboy growing up so I did all the sports. I played softball, volleyball and ran track. My one regret is not sticking with them as much in highschool. I usually only watch college football, I am a big K-State fan, I've already planned for Malik to play football there
jdkjd replied: FOOTBALL!!
I am a FSU football fanatic (having grown up in Tallahassee and got my B.A. from there) and am a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan.
I swam in high school but it's not much of a spectator sport.
Kaitlin'smom replied: I like to watch Football, and MENS volleyball
I used to play soccer, and volleyball
5littleladies replied: Lol-Quite the emphasis on the men's there.
I watch Football with DH but that's about it.
I like to play football, ultimate frisbee, I guess whatever is being played.
Kaitlin'smom replied:
yep, thats probably from my High School days. I was the score keeper for our boy varsity volleyball team for 3 years. I loved it! most of them were football players.
ashade75 replied: I like to watch College football. Big Michigan Fan!!!! (i know I live in Ohio)
I played Volleyball and Basketball. I still shoot hoops with the kids. My children are in sports also. I love going to their soccer games etc.
Kaitlin'smom replied:
and WE kicked there butt!!!
dhoppygirl replied: I did all the sports in high school: volleyball, basketball, fastpitch softball, cross-country. In college I played all the intramural sports and ran some cross-country. I still love to run, play volleyball and if I could find a fastpitch team, I would be on it in an instant!! I loved watching baseball in highschool, when I knew the players, but I hate watching it on tv. Its okay to watch a random game here and there even if I don't know the players. I also like watching the NFL Go Denver Broncos!!!
ashade75 replied: Only this year!!! I believe the record for these rivalries is 56-37-6 (With 56 being blue) Not to mention everytime OSU is undefeated (hmm m lets see, 1993, 1995, and i think 1996) Michigan beat them. Hehe Only to become National Champions in 1997.
We figured we'd let you have some fame and see how good it feels to be a national Champ this year, (since all the money went back to all big 10 schools anyway) LOL
MommyToAshley replied: This goes out to all you Michigan Fans from Ashley:
MommyToAshley replied: Go Buckeyes!
MommyToAshley replied: Those Michigan people are funny lookin' (snicker)

ashade75 replied: I remember when you bought that darn dress!!! She is so cute, ALMOST enough to convert me to a buckeye fan! That was ALMOST!!

ashade75 replied: Ashley honey, your aunt Angel will be up this weekend to take you shopping!!

MommyToAshley replied: Ashade75...You've got your own kid's to corrupt! My is going to be brought up properly... snickering at you Michigan fans.

MommyToAshley replied: Yes, it brings back memories...she was about 4 months old there.
momofajcl replied: Awwwwww! Ashley looks soooooo cute
My dh is a HUGE Steeler fan so the boys have a lot of steeler gear though my sister sent Nicholas some 49er stuff! LOL! They also have a lot of Penn State stuff.
I don't know if it is really considered a sport but I will sit GLUED to the tube for anything equestrian...3 day eventing, especially. I rode a lot in my childhood/teenage years and did some showing and 3 day eventing. I also played tennis in college though not competitively and can sit and watch tennis on TV too. I enjoy a baseball game while sitting in the stadium...though I people watch more than watch the game I sometimes will sit and watch golf with my dh...especially the Masters because that course in GA is beautiful with all the azaleas and dogwoods in bloom OK...so I don't really watch the golf part! LOL!
ashade75 replied: Hey MommytoAshley I found Ashley's birthday present, what do you think? I might get it early for a just because gift!!
ashade75 replied: Looky I found cute socks to match!!!
MommyToAshley replied: Ashley looked at them and blew a big rasberry -- haha!
ashade75 replied: By gosh thats a good sign!! I think she likes it!!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: You guys are hilarious!!!
Speaking of rivalry - Stanley Cup - all bets are on up here that it's going to be Ottawa against Vancouver...what do you think?
ashade75 replied: I havent really watched a lot of Hockey this year but I was thinking more Minnesote vs Ottawa.
MomToMany replied: I like watching football (although the Vikings STINK), but have been paying more attention to the Wild (hockey) and the Timberwolves (basketball) lately (here in Minnesota).
 GO WILD!!
 GO TIMBERWOLVES!
5littleladies replied: My husband would you if he saw that!! lol (he's a die-hard fan)
