Spinoff...What time does school start?

We start at 7:55, get out at 2:25.
My2Beauties replied: Our middle and high school starts at 7:45 and gets out at 2:20, the elementary school starts at 8:45 I believe and gets out at 3:20

i think one elementary school is 8:45 or something like that til like 2:30 and the other two are 9:30 and out 3:15

High School goes in at 7:38 to 2:40
Elementary School (grade K -5) have staggered start times from 8:45 to 9:30 and release times from 3:15 to 4:30
Olivia's school is 9:25 to 3:25

That's a pretty big time change, 4 extra hours. How do you think Ashley will handle it?
I know here that when children go from Kindergarten to their first year of school, they have half days for the first 2 days to get settled, and for the first school term, they get Wednesday's off. But then after the first set of school holidays, they don't get that break. I always wonder how the kids go, it's like they're getting them in to a routine and then all of a sudden they have to get in to a new routine. Maybe I worry because I don't cope well with sudden change, I'm used to sleeping in on weekends but getting up at 6:30am on weekdays. If I sleep in on a weekday, it seems to throw my whole week out of whack

I kind of agree on that, I had originally hoped our school would do something like that but after the first week they were totally adjusted...it seems like "easing into it" really just puts off the inevitable, that they'll be tired the first week of their normal schedule, no matter what.

coasterqueen replied: I can't remember, but I know all our schools in the district used to start at the same time. I think it's 8:20 to 3:20, but I can't remember.
I honestly don't know what time Kylie starts school  because she rides the bus. I know she gets there at 8 am, but I do know she gets out at 10:20.
