Spent half the day at the pediatric er.

mummy2girls wrote: I got a call today at work from Jennas daycare! Jenna got 2 bouts of diarreah in an hour(yes her diarreah came back). So i called up aron to get her and that turned into one ugly fight. First he says "what am i suppose to do with her". Im like Take care of her!!!!!!! I told him she isnt vomitting anymore but just pooping. He said fine and started to moan and complain. So i got off the phone but I ended up getting away from work at 12. So i just phoned up aron and said forget it im getting her! I know i should of made him take her but he was being such a BUTT about it and i was getting so stressed out. So I get over to the daycare at 1230pm. They told me that she never got one wet diaper since when i dropped her off at 700am. So 5 hours with no wet diaper. I got concerned so i took her to the pediatric emergency room. They had checked her and said she was mildly dehydrated. And said it was the right thing to do to bring her in because if it had gotten worse she would of had to be put on ivs and such. They had me feed her pedialyte and wouldnt let her go until she drank a good amount of it. Talk about scarey! So i called aron and told him that he needs to come to my place to spend the day with her, and if i hear one maon i am just going to ignore him!!!!!! He said he will spend the day with her! Talk about insanely stupid of him not to take her for the day when she was really sick back a few days ago. UGH!!!!!!!!!!

favre4fan replied: Oh my gosh what a day. Sorry to hear this. Men can be so insensitive sometimes. When one of the boys are sick there is nowhere else i would rather been than comforting them all i can. Its a good thing you got here there and I hope she s feeling better soon.

redchief replied: Poor kid... Poor mom... Good move though! I had a child in the hospital on IV's for 3 days due to dehydration... Fortunately he got to come home... on Christmas Eve.

Jason had a virus like this last year and we were in the hospital for 3 days and his diarreah lasted for 7-10 days. Don't worry about food, just pedialyte is fine for a while. Also if she is eating try Saltines.

She is doing really well today. aron was with her all day and she hasnt had the runs and peeing like crazy! PHEW!!!!!
