Spent 3 hours at the Walk In Clinic

Last night I couldn't sleep because my ears were bothering me, so I finally break down and get DH to take me to the clinic as soon as he got home from work. We got there at 5:45 and I was finally seen at 8:45. The doctor said that my lungs are clear, my breathing is fine, my heart rate is fine and my ears are just a little plugged. No antibiotics. He said that it should run it's course in another 4 days or if it doesn't I've picked up another bug! Oh that would just be my luck too!

It's almost like this virus can be spread through posting on the board! DH and I are both suffering from the moldy crud that DS had two days ago. This particular head cold involves a lot of "pressure", sinus pain that radiates to the eyes and ears. It sounds similar. Let's all get well soon!!!!

Heather replied: I hope you feel better soon. I know a lot of docs are hesitant to give antibiotics because a lot of people are starting to build up a tolerance causing a lot of disease that are resistant to the antibiotics. Hopefully, it has run its course and you are feeling better soon!!
