Speaking of losing wieght

I miss my friend Charity because we always walked together and kept each other motivated. I would like to give weight watchers a try again, but Im just not good at it....I run out of food ideas and recipes that my whole family will like.....bleh.
booey2 replied: Brianne did you ever give CORE a try? With your kids being so young you should be able to get them to eat most of the foods on the CORE list. Welcome back to getting fit.
mckayleesmom replied: No...and I don't think there is a weight watchers around here that I can go to.
booey2 replied: There definitely is WW try that link and see what you come up with. There is a ton of support there and you may be able to find a meeting you didn't think existed.
holley79 replied: Bri there is a WW that I go to at Davis and Langley. It's in the Books Of Million shopping center. It's right next to the all you can eat sushi. There is also a gym there.
ETA: When I get the fundage back up I am going to go back to WW myself.
mckayleesmom replied: I will start saving too. I have never went before. How much does it usually cost?
holley79 replied: I think it starts out at $12 a week then after so long it drops down to 10 a week. It's kind of pricey but it really worked for me.
mckayleesmom replied: That isn't too bad.....
mckayleesmom replied: Now I just need to find a relatively cheap gym.....I know we have a womans fitness center down the road, but I heard it is expensive.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: No, that's not bad at all... the diet I'm going to be doing in a few months costs 165$ a week....
My3LilMonkeys replied: What diet it that?? For that kind of money it better work!
booey2 replied: I believe that Rocky is going to try Dr. Bernsteins diet.
coasterqueen replied: Never heard of it.
booey2 replied: Dr. B diet
This is not a long term fix, many people who follow it have not kept it off and end up with complications later after they have lost the weight. Definitely not for me.
Calimama replied: I run and cycle. Works great and it's free!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Yes... it's Vitamin B 6 and B 12 injections... my mom and my MIL both went on it - My mom's lost over 60 pound on it... and my MIL lost over 60 pounds as well... and while my mother has kept it off, my MIL has ballooned up again, I think she's bigger than before...
It totally works. You lose between 16 and 20 pounds a month. I only have about 40 pounds to lose... so 2 months and I will do the last little stretch myself. My self esteem is sooo dowqn about my weight... the quick fix will do my ego ggreat... then I'll handle the rest.
That will cost me between 1500$ and 2100$ to get to the weight I'm comfortable at, and about 2 - 2 1/2 months.
I'm so psyched. But first I need to continue saving for my trip to Edmonton in May (yay!) and THEN I will save up for the diet. So probably by this summer.
