Speaking of high gas prices...
Danalana wrote: I read about a place in Norway where gas is over $2 for a quarter gallon. They interviewed this guy who drives a small car...he said it costs $128 to fill it up I guess that makes my $60 not seem so bad. In fact, when we went to the beach, there were some places that were $3.73
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Yikes. It has been going down here ~ Dh got gas for 3.69 a couple days ago.

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Lol isn't it sad how good that is? I used to think that $2 a gallon was horrific, but I think I'd be jumping up and down for joy if it went down that far!
Oooh Dh just called me and said that gas went down to $3.54 where he works!
jcc64 replied: Gas has always been much more expensive in Europe. But in return, they get state subsidized health and child care, among other things.
Danalana replied: Oh wow, that really is good
msoulz replied: I do recall being in the UK in 1998 and paying the equivalent of $3.50/gallon there when our prices were probably $1.50/gallon. That's why they don't drive big SUV's and the likes.
lisar replied: When I paid 3.99 a gallon the other day for my car I was very HAPPY. I cant use the low grade fuel in my car so it cost me more to fill it. But regular prices are down to 3.80 a gallon here now. They said by the end of this year we will be back to 3.00 a gallon.
I remember when it hit 3.00 a gallon were all raising cane about it, and look at us now, we want it to go back to 3 dollars a gallon. LOL
Swood75 replied: Well, when we got back from vacation Weds night ours had gone down .10 cents a gallon while we were gone..It was $3.58..I am hoping it has gone down some more when I go out in a bit to the store..
Calimama replied: WOW!
I got excited yesterday because our gas fell to $3.95.. I didn't even remember what a 3 looked like up there.
Swood75 replied: LOL...The most our reg gas ever got up to (that I remember anyway)lol was $3.85
Calimama replied: Sooo who wants to mail me some gas?
We've been at $4.50's for awhile and are finally dropping down huge chunks overnight!
Our Lil' Family replied: $3.65 here, it's a nice break...too bad it probably won't last long.
blondemom replied: I drive a mini van and it cost me 70 + to fill up, where I live it is down to 3.67 a gallon.
Kentuckychick replied: This is true... there have also been studies done that show that Europeans drive way less than Americans and they also have great public transportation. So if that guys $168 lasts him as longer than my $80... it all evens out.
