Speaking of age

I can't believe I'm 26 already, but I kind of thought that everyone died past 30 when I was younger, it seemed so old, to be 30, but now that I'll be 30 in 4 years...not so much!

C&K*s Mommie replied: Around 25, maybe 26. Definately at 27.... I wanted to put the brakes on my age then, but it was too late. ETA: That may be why I was still saying I was 27, even after I turned 28 this yr.

PrairieMom replied: I had a hard time at 25, but I think I will have a harder time later. Old to me is being an age I can remember my mother being. I'm not there yet! The fact that I am a mother of 2 hasn't hit me. I will be 30 next march.

CantWait replied: This year it hit. I didn't even want to celebrate my birthday. I can't believe next year I'm going to be 30. It seems older, but still younger. I guess in reality it's going to be a great year.

Amanda replied: I always feel super young for how much I have lived. I'll think "How am I only 26?" I feel like I've been around forever and yet I am just now the age my mom and dad were when I was born. 26 just seems so young to me. I hope I always feel like a baby.

kimberley replied: well i was pretty devastated about turning the big 3-0 but i didn't feel it yet. when i turned 31, it finally sunk in that i had to be an adult forever lol. i still have my days of denial but it has definitely hit me now. i just stopped counting my age unless i absolutely have to lol.

When I was 25 I was always told I looked 18 also. Haha, now I look more my age I think.

danahas4monkeys replied: mine was this year, i was dreading turning 30 for some reason dont know why cause well it turns out it was just another day. But for me I think it was my oldest turning 11 this year, for some reason her hitting those double digit years really made me say whoa, she's getting older and dragging me down with her lol! But I dont feel 30 , I think having my kids so young keeps me young.

Ashlynn's Mommy replied: This is going to sound stupid, but It hit me a little bit on my 18th birthday. I cried because I was considered an adult, I didn't want to be an adult. But now that I'm 26 It's starting to hit me pretty hard. My twenties are almost over I don't want to get old

amymom replied: It hit me a few months after my mom passed away. I was 37 and was thinking that it was terrible to lose a parent when you are so young. I thought, my mom was old when her parents died and then I realized she was only a year older than I was when her Dad died! That really threw me for a loop. It still does, everytime I hit a milestone that I think my mother was so old when she went through it, then I realize I am older than she was through that!!! (If that makes any sense )

Also everytime my son goes through something or gets older it hits me. He is 15 now !!!WOW!!!
