Speaking of Photography...
MommyToAshley wrote: I saw a weekly show advertised that is supposed to give tips on improving your photography. It's supposed to give tips about lighting, color, etc. Now, I don't remember the name of the show and I can't find it listed. It was probably on TLC, Discovery, or HGTV since our TV is usually on one of those channels. Does anyone know the name of this show and when it comes on, and what channel?
TIA!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I've never seen an advertisement for it, but that sounds really cool!
I know itunes has several podcasts with this information, too
A&A'smommy replied: No I haven't but that would be GREAT!!!!
MoonMama replied: No I haven't either but I agree it would be GREAT.
CantWait replied: Me either, but if you find out post the information. Sounds really cool. I don't think it's TLC cause I'm forever watching that channel.
Crystalina replied: I want to watch it!!
I go to a photography forum (well,I haven't in awhile because I barely have the time especially since the placenta thread. ) but I learn so much from the pros that are on there. You can submit photos and have them critiqued and wow sometimes they are harsh and see and pick out things that you never even notice. I like it though but I need to find the link again. Harsh but very educational and helpful.
I love to have my photos critiqued good or bad.
msoulz replied: That sounds like something DH would like - can you share the web site?
MommyToAshley replied: My DH is awesome , he set the DVR to record it for me so I have a few shows to watch. It's called "The Whole Picture". He thought that I would like that show... does he know me or what?

I haven't watched it yet, so I don't know if it is good or not, but just thought I'd share the info.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: It looks promising! I like the blog!!
luvmykids replied: Aw, what a thoughtful thing for DH to do
grapfruit replied: I wouldn't mind checking out the forum. Is it "mean" or is it good critisiam. (sp?) I don't mind getting some pointers (b/c it can always be better). But I'm not crazy about somebody telling me it's just pure "crap" or something. I'd rather "hey next time you should do this...."
A&A'smommy replied: I also go to a photography forum but its the canon forum, its where I got my info on my printing lab and some GREAT ideas!!
msoulz replied: Thanks for the link! We don't have DIY network but the web site looks good too!!!!
Crystalina replied: They are not mean. I mean you may get the occasional, "What is that crap" thing but that would be from someone who is new and will not e there long. They are harsh but most are older people who have business' and have done this for years. They are all about composition, lighting, reflections and editing techniques and after being there and then giving your opinion on someones photo (they also have albums that all members can upload their photos to) and learning the "talk" it's hard to give an opinion on someones photo (like on another board) and not say, "I would have done this or that or next time try this and it will help."
I haven't been there since summer and it was Favorited on IE and I have since moved to FireFox so I'll have to search the web for the address.
Calimama replied: That looks cool.
