Hillbilly Housewife replied: That is SOOOO cute!!!!!!

Where di you have it done?

amynicole21 replied:
Thanks! They come to her daycare every year and do pictures - you only pay for the ones you keep. It's a really nice service thumb.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: That's awesome!

ediep replied: so cute!!

Kaitlin'smom replied: how cute.... wub.gif

reminds me to make Kaitlins 9 month picture appointment

booey2 replied: What a cutie. Like the pose.

DansMom replied:
Oh my goodness!!! Sophia is so beautiful. Does she always pose for the camera without a fight? I've heard some other moms on this board complain that it's a big project to get photos done around this age. Maybe Sophia knows in advance how great her pictures will look! She's such a cutie wub.gif

5littleladies replied: How precious!!! She is beautiful. wub.gif

maliksmommy replied: She is so cute!!!!!!! wub.gif

amynicole21 replied:

lol!! If there's one thing she's used to, it's having a camera in her face biggrin.gif

coasterqueen replied: Geesh, Kylie fights the camera tooth and nail!! She hates getting her pic taken and they always turn out okay, but not as good as they could be. I am always stressed out by the time we leave the photographer.

She looks beautiful, Amy!

A&A'smommy replied: She is just so beautiful!!!!!!! wub.gif

supermom replied: She is very very beautiful!

Mommieto2Girls replied: Awe, great picture, she is adorable. Looks like her skin color is darking up, are you taking her in the sun more? Maddie did that when I was taking her for walks everyday, so I had to stop. She was getting so dark.

amynicole21 replied:
She is getting a little more bronze, but I don't think we've been going outside that much. I think that her skin is just adjusting more to what her normal coloring will be. She started out so light complected, and slowly has been turning golden. I expect her to get a bit darker too - she's biracial. smile.gif

MommyToAshley replied: She's absolutely adorable. She's a lot cuter than babies I have seen on the cover of Parenting Magazine... have you thought about getting her into modeling? You should enter her into baby contests. She's beautiful and very photogenic! wub.gif

amynicole21 replied:
Thanks! I actually have thought about it, but I have no idea how to get started in something like that. I remember always hearing that you had to pay so much money to get into an agency, and you never knew if you would really get work. I just don't want to be scammed. sad.gif

~CrazieMama~ replied: What a beautiful little girl you have!!!! wub.gif She should be in photos!!!! biggrin.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: She is such a doll!!

Just wanted to give you some info on child modeling if you are interested. smile.gif

All you do is find the addresses of some child modeling/acting agencies in your area and send photos of Sophia. On the back you can type a label with her name, DOB, Height, Weight and clothing size. You put another label with YOUR name, address, and phone number. You may call the agency to see if they require any thing other than that information. You don't need head shots for a child until they are a lot older. Right now they change and grow too quickly. All they want are snap shots you have taken. Send a few good ones and send them to several agencies if they are available. Most agencies will call back within 6 weeks. If you haven't heard from them, call back and check to see if they are full in her category. There is NO COST INVOLVED nor should there be. If anyone asks you for money or to go get headshots...you are being taken. We did this with Maddie and got a call back. So, you never know. smile.gif Good Luck and have fun!!
Be sure to talk this over with your DH. It is a HUGE commitment on your part with a child this age. The children just think it is fun at this point and they really don't feel competitive. But, it's a lot of work for mom. A good website for you to visit is www.babyzone.com/parenting/childmodel.asp It states on that site that most of the children who are called back don't ever get the chance to model b/c the parents give up. They stop at the initial call back interview and turn down too many jobs. They really need reliable parents for the photo shoots b/c it costs them lots of money and time.

HTH!!
