Some people

It took me forever to get to work but was still on time thank goodness. Well I have been using the locker room. At night there is NO ONE that uses it but during the day women do.
Well no one said a word about me pumping in there. I did hear a woman do that disgusted sound. I just brushed it off. Now let me think here, Don't you use a locker room to dress out in??? I mean call me crazy here. What's the diff of my getting undressed and me pumping. You can't see anything my back was to the door.
Well I got back to my desk and there was a message from the Major to come to his office. I was like, WTH??? I got to the Major's office and he asked me to shut the door. I asked him if there was a problem and he told me he didn't think so. He told me he got a complaint about me pumping in the LR. Of course I went on the defense and asked him where I was supposed to pump. I pump in there every night I work. He held up his hand and told me that I was allowed to pump in there but if I didn't feel comfortable pumping in there he would give me a key to his office. I asked him if a female complained and he told me, "Yes but I told her women dress out in there and there was not a problem with me pumping in there. If she saw that I was in there and she was uncomfortable going to the BR in there then she could go to another area of the SO." Come to find out his wife is an LC. Thank goodness. I thought I was going to have to pull some punches but someone pinch hitted for me.
Thanks for listening to me vent.
luvmykids replied: Major points for the Major!! And boo hiss to that woman who complained, she must not be a mom!
kimberley replied: great boss! are you going to say anything to that woman?? of all the things people can gripe about in this world, pumping should NOT be one of them
kayla's mama replied: The nerve of that woman Luckily you have an undersatnding boss
Bee_Kay replied: I just don't know about some people!!
Heck, if it was me... and I walked in on a lady pumping.... it would be just like me to strike up a conversation LOL
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Omg that would make me so mad. It's a good thing you have an understanding boss - and how lucky that his wife is a LC!
holley79 replied: Well this woman is admin that works days so I wasn't even sure who it was. My back was too her the entire time. I asked the Major who it was and he knew better then to tell me. Guess he knows me all to well. He gave me his wife's card and told me to call her if I had any questions of concerns.
BAC'sMom replied:
Sounds like you have a neat boss.
And shame on that moron of a women.
Lynda836 replied: Big round of applause for your boss!
NEWMOM05 replied: Some people are so mean. You have great boss.
ashtonsmama replied: As it should be! I'm glad he understands! But what a ridiculous thing to complain about, I can't believe some people actually are offended when we nurse...it's so natural, and boobs are in the media, everywhere anyways so it's not like people aren't going to see them anyways...
holley79 replied:
Isn't that the truth. I was watching one of the games my Stepson was playing the other day.
