Some new symptoms - unusual for me
moped wrote: and no biggies. But I NEVER get headaches, I was up in the night with the worst headache - pregnany related? I don't want to start taking tylenol but can't live with this all darn day! Also I had NO patience this weekend with Jack - i felt so bad. And he was a good kid but I just had no patience for a 3 year old......... I also think the "nesting" stage is going away and extreme tiredness is kicking in!!!!!
lisar replied: I got headaches sometimes when PG. I would take tylenol for them so they didnt turn into a migraine.
Danalana replied: Why don't you want to take tylenol? I take about 2 tylenol a day... My doc said it's perfectly safe, as long as you take it as directed. I think I should be ok with 2 a day Sometimes I don't take any, but I do take 2 most days. Shoot, I would take it instead of suffering.
lovemy2 replied: I would say take the tylenol - it is completely safe - especially at this point - could be stress related too- you know worrying about the birth, two kids, etc. etc.
As for Jack - give yourself a break - you probably ARE tired at this point - baby carrying at this stage is hard work - try finding things you can do with him that are quiet things - I know that's hard especially with a boy - but at least you will be doing SOMETHING with him so he doesn't feel like you are too tired for him, etc. and it will be easier on you....
Hang in there girlfriend - you are sooooo close now....it will all be over soon and then the real fun starts.....
When is the c-section - if you have it - scheduled for??
moped replied: Why do you take tylenol everyday????
moped replied: December 17 - noon!
Danalana replied: For my hip...it has been out of place for most og my pregnancy, except for the times I have had it adjusted. Also, you know the headache you jsut posted about? I have had them almost the whole time too
HuskerMom replied: I hope your headaches go away! Wow the 17th! That's so close!
moped replied: I don't take any pills very often at all - like hardly ever, so if I can avoid it I do.
Sorry about your hip!
A&A'smommy replied: I'm SOO the same way.. but don't let yourself be miserable.. also sometimes a warm rag sometimes helps relieve my headachs.
moped replied: Well I just had lunch and it seems to be feeling better
Danalana replied: Yeah, it's not that I wanted to take anything, either...we've waited so long for this and it was a hard road, so I don't wanna do anything to mess it up. My doctor assured me that tylenol is perfectly safe and that I should just suffer if other efforts fail. Sometimes I'll take a warm bath or something to try to ease it. If that doesn't work, I usually will resort to tylenol. My headaches in early pregnancy were pregnancy headaches....the ones I am having now are sinus-related...UGH! Anyway, I made sure that it was ok before I took anything. I have been taking the tylenol since really early on and baby is wonderful I also understand not wanting to take anything, though maybe for a different reason. I have several family members who have addiction problems, so no way am I heading down that road. Wow, I win the award for rambling!
But I'm glad it's feeling better!
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Jen, could the headaches be from dehydration? I always get one when I haven't had enough water. And it doubles when you're PG. Or maybe you haven't had enough to eat. Eat a little protein, like a yogurt, and see if it gets better.
And don't beat yourself up about Jack. Hon, you got a lot more coming...Not to say get used to it, but you'll have many more days where you'll have a short fuse. He will be fine, maybe even learn that mommy needs a time out sometimes too.
Danalana replied: I meant "shouldn't" suffer....but there is no edit option, for some reason.
My2Beauties replied: It's going to be over soon. I had a lot of headaches when I was preggo with both kids. I just took Tylenol, it's safe. If you don't want to do that, try taking a nap, I know that's hard with a little one running around. As far as the short fuse thing...oh honey ITA with Rae, this won't be the only day you have one after the new one comes...my fuse is so short with Hanna lately that I feel awful sometimes. I lose it over stupid stuff!
moped replied: Yes I am drinking more for sure..........thank you Rae.
Tom pointed out it could be the crazy weather - it changed over 25 degrees in 12 hours and is now ARCTIC Cold!!!!!
