Some good news I guess....

Well...she replied to me today saying that they were coming on the 23rd and would be leaving real early Christmas morning. So it sounds like we will get to spend Christmas morning just as a family and not with the IL's which is how I really wanted it. Cool!

Im glad that you will be able to spend Christmas with just your family....mmmm...some of us arent that lucky.... I just know its gonna be hubby's family,my family...and tons of relatives thinking they can invite themselves over just cos its the festive season....

Oh and Lollie....we still have to spend the afternoon with family. It's just that we thought our IL's would be spending Christmas morning with us when Kylie would be opening presents from Santa, etc..and I wanted that to only be "our" time..which looks like it's going to be that. We'll still go to 2 other places mid morning .

In my opinion christmas morning is just for family..immediete, I either married you or gave birth to you, family..ya know!!

The tradition when we were growing up was Chritsmas morning was for just the immediate family. There were some exceptions like when we would go visit grandparents, but otherwise it was just the 5 of us. It is the same exact thing now that I have my own family. We open up all of our presents and then go have breakfsat at our friends house so we can exchange gifts. The Holidays always seem to wind up as this big potluck to do with all of our friends.

I'm sorry that you are feeling down today. I used to get like this at times when I was pg/ I hope that you start feeling better soon.
