My Gram - she is doing quite well physically but unfortunately when she fell and broke her hip in April and had to have surgery it really did alot of damage mentally - she really doesn't know much of what is going on anymore - she knows all of us thank god but that is about as far as it goes....she ended up having to go to a full out nursing home instead of back to her assisted living apt. - it really stinks - I miss her at my house for Sunday dinner - its just too hard now to take her anywhere and woudl confuse her too much...
