Plus Spencer will need a home care nurse when we eventually get back to Thunder Bay because he will still have the central line. So the home care nurse will be covered by the Ontario Government.

(Oh this darn computer. It's just such a pain. I was changing the title and boom I had posted the message.)

Anyway I found out today that the Canadian Goverment also pays for a few of the medications that he will need and this was a huge relief. The medications are very expensive, so my DH is applying to the Trilium Foundation to help with the prescription costs.

This is all so good to know. I wasn't worried about the medications.

I've also finally given into the fact that I am only human and have asked the Social Worker to refer me to a psychiatrist or psychologist in Toronto so that I will have someone to talk too. It's hard when all of your supports are in a different city.

mckayleesmom replied: Thats great news. Glad you are trying to find someone to talk to. I think it will be a huge stress reliever to get to talk to someone.
