lisar replied: I never got it either. With either on of my kids. I know people who do though. I just wanted to relax I had no energy.

Kaitlin'smom replied: I never got it either, infact her room was not even done when I went into labor, my parents and ssiter helped DH finish while I was in the hospital. I hope yours kicks in for you. Maybe just a little at a time, who kows maybe once you get started it will kick in.

I did have one burst of energy when I was pg with Roo though - the night I went into labor I was up all night with contractions and I cleaned the bathroom and mopped all my floors. But I never really felt like the house was ready for him because I just never got it all organized.

siblingtooolivia replied: I had it with the second one, but never acted on it - I think because it took all of my energy to get through the day with working and Olivia - I had nothing left to give to that instinct!!!

Lol I know what you mean. I feel like I've really accomplished something if I can manage to do a load of dishes in the dishwasher and wash a load of laundry... without folding it! Andrew takes a lot of energy. He's so energetic right now and I just don't have enough to keep up with him!

Boo&BugsMom replied: I'm waiting with you! 2 1/2 more months to go and I'm still beat every day! My first pregnancy was soooooooooo much different, and much more easier!

EvesMom replied: I missed otu on the nesting instinct while preg. with Eve. But Dh ripped the house apart and cleaned everthing while we were in the hospital I sure hope he does that again this time around

Wow that would be nice. My parents will probably be staying here with Andrew so maybe my mom will do some cleaning for me.

In some ways my first pg was easier, and in some ways this one has been easier. I'm definitely more uncomfortable, and the heartburn is worse, but I haven't gained as much as I did with Roo so that helps. The biggest thing that made it easier with Andrew was I didn't have any other kids to take care of so I could sleep all day if i wanted to.
