From Santa they are getting Barbie doll house, dolls, car and clothes; Pink ATM machine, Megan - Nintendo DS and games; Kylie - cheap camcorder and tripod

From Us:

Doll bed
2 other things haven't determined

The rest of the family are pretty much covering the rest of their list, except a few things so they are going to get lucky this year, I guess. rolleyes.gif

Luckily for us the Nintendo DS, games, camcorder and tripod were all used with our Best Buy points thumb.gif. So I haven't had to spend too much money and won't in the end. So they are getting a lot, but we aren't spending a lot. tongue.gif

moped replied: Karen,
Show me the ATM Machine.....

coasterqueen replied: Well I don't feel bad about what the girls are getting then. tongue.gif They wouldn't get a lot of the stuff if we didn't use our rewards $$, for sure. thumb.gif

coasterqueen replied:
Here is a link to it: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3173954

Megan's addicted to money (seriously!) and she wanted one, so of course her sister did too. It's not like they have a dozen other banks, too. rolleyes.gif lol

and here is the pic (they have other colors too)

mummy2girls replied: Jenna doesnt have a list... so we are getting her some board games, hannah montana stuff, craft stuff, clothes, i pod. and the big thing we are getting her is a kitten. she wanted a cat for the longest time so on christmas eve we are going to the pet store to pick up the kitten and then christmas morning we are going to put the kitten in her bed with a bow around neck... She will be so surprised!

coasterqueen replied:
Ahhhhh!!!!!! I can't wait to see pics of her face when she sees the kitten. wub.gif wub.gif

moped replied: Cool ATM, how big is it? Do you know?

L is getting the cash register, which of course Jack will paly with but i wonder about the atm to kind of go with it.....

coasterqueen replied:
Um, well I opened the box it came in real quickly, but I'd say it's close to the size of a cash register, maybe. The dimensions might be on that link, not sure.

moped replied:
Yeah I spoil them ROTTEN at Christmas, well all the time, but christmas I really do. Other times it is spoiling them with clothes etc, but at Christmas it is toys toys

Oh and add to that list:

A leap Frog text messenger thingy for Jack
Baby Stella and accessories for L

PrairieMom replied: We are really careful about the message that we send to the kids, so we will definitely not be going overboard.

The kids will each get one gift from each of us, and one from their sibling. I am trying to really rain in Family spending too, so hopefully aunts and uncles won't go to crazy.

From us, Ben will get a lego city set for his big gift, and some other learning toy from me, and probably some ninja turtle piece of crap from Al.

Al will get some my little pony piece of crap from Ben, and 2 learning type toys from us, I am thinking about some wooden beads to string or something like that.

The goal is for each kid to get only 7 gifts total, including grandparents and aunts and uncles. not counting what comes from santa.

Santa usually brings lots of craft supplies. A whole package of white computer paper to color on, fresh paints, markers, and probably some playdoh.

MommyToAshley replied: The only thing Ashley has asked for is an ipod touch.

I am not convinced on that yet, so not sure what we are getting her. This is going to be a tough year.

boyohboyohboy replied: We also are cutting way back on the kids this year.
caleb is getting the star wars huge ship thing he wanted, (from my mom) and we got him the people and "stuff" to go with it.
and some football jerseys.
Jakob got the leapster 2 from my mom, and we got the games for it and the charger.
Andrew is getting the imaginex castle and we got him two extra dino's for it.
we dont have any other family so thats it.

we also make the kids pick a name off our tree at work and give to toys for tots.

Lately the kids had been saying all these things they wanted and both caleb and jakob said to use the credit card! so we are showing them you cant do that, and if there isnt cash you dont buy it..we hope they grow with those thoughts..
we also have always tried to instill the real meaning of christmas but with caleb being 8 this year are insisting more that they get it.

they actually all got things that each other like so I am sure they will play with each others stuff too.

mom21kid2dogs replied: No list has been forthcoming, yet. Of course she just had a birthday so it makes Christmas challenging. We do stockings from Santa and 3 gifts from us. I got 2 games at Kroger (BOGO free) but I'm not sure who they'll go to. I already bought a family suprise (a Wii) and have to get accessories and a game or two for it.

moped replied:
I recommend mario Kart for the family game! thumb.gif

Our Lil' Family replied: Thomas gets 3 gifts from Santa and one from us. So far I have:
BumbleBee Transformer
Leapster Tag Reading system

Need to buy:
Lego block clock/radio/cd player (this is really cute!)
V-tech digital camera

The only thing I know for sure from grandparents:
Optimus Prime Transformer
Books for Leapster Tag Reader
Drawing supplies

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: From Santa she is getting all the baby doll furniture and a new doll.

From us we got her some games, craft supplies, workbooks, sit and spin and a couple other small things.

She doesn't need a lot, plus my mom goes WAY overboard!!

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Emily wants an iPod, we got it for her but she thinks she's getting digital camera. Spencer wants Bongos, thank god my brother works at a music/electronics store he ordered them for him at cost. And Claudia anything Highschool Musical, so we got her the highschool, the dolls, a football jersey, pj's, slippers, blanket and pillow and the last 2 movies. Ok so we went a little overboard on Highschool Musical, but everything is so cheap now! laugh.gif

DVFlyer replied: Chloe wants one of the realistic pet things. She'll get that.

Keian wants Rocky the Robot- we already bought it.

moped replied:
What are those realistic pet things?

DVFlyer replied: Not sure if this is the exact one she pointed to, but this is the basic idea:

http://www.hasbro.com/furreal/en_US/

Kirstenmumof3 replied: I forgot to mention that I'm making gifts for the kids. And they're making gifts for each other. Spencer is making Jello playdough for Claudia and a stuffed Penguin for Emily. Emily hasn't decided yet and I think with Claudia we're going to go to the used Bookstore and buy some old books, glue the pages together and cut out the middle, so her Brother and Sister can hide stuff inside the books. What 7 year old doesn't like gluing things together! LOL

We also get the kids to pick a name off of the Tree at Walmart and make donations to the Christmas Cheer program. This summer Claudia donated her Lemonade Stand money to Sick Kids hospital. thumb.gif

jakesmommy08 replied: we got jacob a train table with all the accessories from toys r us. so hes not getting much more, as for caden, we dont have a clue, he'll only be 2 months old. what do you buy a 2 month old?????

Boo&BugsMom replied:
Where did you find the Mickey Mouse cash register??? Aiden is obsessed with Mickey Mouse!!!

And about the Bakugan..........ugh.........need I say more? laugh.gif That is Tanner's obsession. rolleyes.gif

Boo&BugsMom replied:
I go crazy for Christmas usually too. I don't buy them things other than clothes throughout the rest of the year along with the occassional Matchbox Car, but Christmas is my time to spoil them! :-D I don't spend an outrageous amount, but I make it look like they have a lot under the tree...usually about 15 boxes each. Some might be $20, but a few also might be only $5...depending on what I buy and find. Tanner has gotten more expensive though because of his age...ugh. rolleyes.gif Usually Santa would bring everything, but this year I am making only a few presents from Santa and the rest from us. biggrin.gif

mom21kid2dogs replied:
Thanks! thumb.gif She loves her DS Mario Kart so she probably would love the Wii version.

moped replied:
Disneystore.com

I bought sooo much stuff on there for the kids!!!!

moped replied:
Same here.......I will get Jack a little Hot Wheels once a month or so, but other that that it is clothes.
He is really pumped when Birthdays and Christmas roll around!

luvbug00 replied: the two older kids are getting DSI's. (game systems i guess) umm cailynn is getting normal kid toys and chase is only gonna be three months old, he's getting love..lol! we will for sure go broke because money is no object for all the kids to be happy..like no cable next month broke..lol!

luvmykids replied: I'm not real sure yet, I need to be laugh.gif

My kids have this notion that everything Santa brings is free so they ask for laptops, ipods, and expensive cell phones. None of which they are getting rolling_smile.gif

Colt really wants a guitar so I need to check into lessons....if we can make it work, he'll get a guitar/lessons from us and probably a few smaller things like Bakugan, a new cowboy hat/boots, and a mini skate board.

Kylie and Macie are probably getting a new Barbie house (since we lost their old one in the move and they really miss it). Kylie will be getting a few outfits, a pair of non-cowgirl boots, Barbie stuff and who knows what else. Macie wants lots of Pet Shop stuff and Barbie's too.

I usually don't know until I start shopping. For sure I'll be getting some wii games and they'll all get a new ds game too. I know Colt is getting a new comforter from my IL's and the girls are getting Moxie Dolls from them as well.

coasterqueen replied:
Same here, and when they do want something during the year they use their allowance to get it - usually a DVD or something silly like that. Although this year they did get to go crazy buying things while on our Disney Cruise - that's out of the norm, though.

My2Beauties replied: Hanna is hard because she just had her b'day and she got the Furreal Cat, the barbie veterinarian kit and a Tinkerbell House and this has been all she has talked about. She said she really wants this talking doll house, but it's almost $300 and she already has one doll house and one Barbie House and the furniture is everywhere, she barely plays with them, so I'm sort of on the fence about it. I haven't bought anything yet, but they will both get clothes, Barbies, Baby Dolls, underwear and socks (yes I am THAT mom), some shoes, and crafts, they love to color and draw. But I am not sure about their one big toy yet. Hanna really wants that dollhouse, I might get that for BOTH of them but I'm not sure how well that will go over, sibling rivalry in my house is insane! LOL LOL!

youngmomofone replied: There's no list. Mom got her those hamsters an the accessories back in Aug/Sept before she even knew they were going to be a big hit. She's also getting her some educational toys.

DH and I are getting her a new dvd player since the movers broke hers (she has a tv with a built in dvd player, and they broke the dvd player on it; thankfully the tv part was OK), and a few more movies. My mom gets her every Disney movie that comes out (cartoons) so I'm going to start buying her other types of movies that isn't cartoons.

The baby is getting new chew/crib toys. My mom started the tradition of giving the babies their first glow worm so she is going to get her that wub.gif

jcc64 replied: My kids all just recently had birthdays, so it kind of takes the fun out of Christmas buying.
Have absolutely no idea what to get the boys--they're 17 and 14.
Corey wants some baby doll that she can feed and it then pees and poops. I have no idea what she's talking about.
She also wants a puppy (real, which she won't be getting--we already have 2 dogs) and a tv in her room (which she also won't be getting). Idk, maybe a few of those Liv World dolls, some clothes, and the big gift will be a kip practice bar and mat for gymnastics, since the at-home balance beam was such a big hit.
