So what are everyones plans this year?

On the 24th Jenna will be with her dad all day and im going to spend the day with marcus and his family. At 7pm im picking jen up and then heading to mass with everyone. then we will go back to marcus's moms house and have drinks and snacks. The 25th im going to my brothers for christmas ( so my mom gets this year off from cooking) . And on boxing day ill be goign to my grandmas house with jenna. A full filled weekend for sure!!!!
lesliesmom replied: Let's see, Saturday I will be decorating GingerBread boys at my moms (fun - she makes like a hundred of them and, for some reason, I'm the only one who can decorate them). Saturday night we have an annual Christmas Eve Eve party with a group of friends (still need to make the Peanut Butter Cup cheesecake for that). Sunday will be full of church services. Our normal Sunday morning (10a) then the kids' service at 4:30. I think I'll send the kids home after that one with Grandma and DH and I will do what we need to do (run sound, lights, play bells, lead service, whatever) for the 7:30 service. On Christmas we'll do our morning, just us, then have his mom over at some point and then head over to my folks for the rest of the gifts and a day of gluttony!!!
C&K*s Mommie replied: Supposed to be going to Tallahassee on Sat, but we had a last minute emergency come up yesterday that may prevent us from going. Chris is trying to work out the details now, so hopefully we still can go.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Tonight I'm going to do some crisis cleaning, mostly in my bedroom, since we're installing the flooring on Saturday. It was suppose dto be last weekend... but oh well, I hadn't taken the carpet out anyways. 
Friday we're not really doing anything, I'm going to be doing the last of my baking, and preparing stuff for Sunday.
Saturday, dh and I have a party to go to, starting at 3pm... we weren't planning on bringing the kids, but the host told us that we had BETTER bring them or else... so I'm cancelling our sitter. I'm debating on wether to give her a financial compensation for her time though... I booked her a couple weeks ago, and she was nice enough to keep her day clear for me...
Sunday we are having Christmas dinner at my house, my mom, my grandmother, the inlaws, my mil's brother and his wife, and possible an extra guest or two from dh's work that don't have family in the area... inlaws and my grandmother are then going to mass at 8pm, then everyone is coming back for a midnight meal...
Monday we're not doing much. Giving the kids their gifts, then heading over to my mom's and then my grandma's for their gifts... then heading over to the inlaws for dinner and their gifts...
then nothing until the 31st, which is going to be our Hobo New Years party!
coasterqueen replied: Well I'm off tomorrow through January 2nd, so I plan to spend time with my family, do some redecorating (painting).
For the Christmas holiday I am cooking (yes me...well and Dh too.  ) Christmas Eve dinner and his whole family will be at our house for that. Christmas morning we go to my parents for my mom's side of the family feast.
Oh and on the 23rd we are having dinner with my MIL and her family. FUN!  
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Well tomorrow night we are going to DH's parents house to open gifts.
Saturday night we go to my brother's to open gifts.
Sunday we will go to my Aunts for Christmas Eve.
Monday me, dh, and Mackenzie will open our gifts. Then my mom and dad will come over and my mom will make her biscuits and gravy (yummy) and then we will open the rest of our gifts.
I get the next week off so I plan on taking it easy!!!

Sunday we spend most of the day at my inlaws and have dinner over there that evening. Monday morning we open our presents at home and then head back over to the inlaws to open more presents. Then probably spend all day over there.
sparkys2boys replied: On sulways rn we are going to a xmas church service and then around to visit family and friends, then home by 6:00 at the latest to make snacks and sit around with the kids while they open 1 gift and then I always read the night before xmas to them every year. On Sun my parents are coming over for dinner and also my grandfather. Then maybe later on in the day we will go see my sister and her family to spend time with my neices and see there gifts, then to my parents, and inlaws. On boxing day we all go to my sis's house for brunch.
holley79 replied: Well lets see.  Saturday we are going to DH's biological father's house. (hour away) Sunday we are going to DH's dad who raised him house. Monday morning Christmas morning at our house. Christmas afternoon we are going to my mom and dad's house.  Needless to say it's going to be a WONDERFUL time.
Kaitlin'smom replied: Well lets see tomorrow is last day of work till the new year...YIPPY. Saturday we will head to the farm so Kaitlin can ride her pony and play before the present mayham. (altho she got some last night  ) Sauday we will spend christmas eve with his family at the farm. then come home that night. Monday moring we will have a nice breakfast and open our gifts, then a little later go to my sisters house for more present mayham and fest. Then I can rest and hopefully finsh Kaits room next week. Maybe even clean my bedroom a bit.
lisar replied: Well Saturday night me and ALL my friends are getting together to have christmas with each other. Sunday night we will be going to DH's grandmas house for the big get together there like they do every year. And after we leave there I have to put the kids to bed load my bestfriends gift for her son and go to her house and swap them out. She has the 4-wheeler I am giving Raygen. So we are swapping. But only after the kids go to bed. And then Christmas day I will be going to Granny's for X-mas dinner.
Brias3 replied: Christmas Eve, its off to Chicago for us- we'll be going to church and spending the evening with my husband's side of the family. Christmas Day, we'll be at my aunt's house with my side. Tuesday, we're off to Hawaii! I need this vacation BAD 
I'm kind of bummed the kids won't have Christmas morning here at home for Santa gifts and everything (we had to write in our letters that he should drop them off at Auntie Diana's house but with both families down there and us flying out of O'Hare bright and early Tuesday morning, its the only practical solution this year.

Monday we will open up gifts here in the morning, have breakfast and then probably head over to the inlaws and open up gifts. Come back home rest for little while then go to my grandma's for dinner and open up gifts at her place.
Mommy2BAK replied: Goodness lets see... Tonight we are going to my Aunts to exchange gifts with them. Tomorrow night Larry and I are going on a carraige ride  while Blake stays the night at her g-ma's! Saturday morning we're leaving to go out of town to visit all of Larry's relatives (grandparents, aunts & uncles, cousins) we're doing dirty santa with them. Then Christmas eve we are going to my IN-Laws to open gifts and eat it should be tons of craziness! Then Christmas day we're going to my moms for breakfast and open more gifts.
SHEW- I'm glad I wrote all this out so I sort of have it in my head

Kidding! I am working Saturday. MB has a hockey game Sat. morning, I will miss it. On Sunday I am baking and making some deserts. Monday morning the kids will open what Santa has brought. Then Monday night we will have about 30 people (neices & nephews and their kids) for dinner. They are all bringing something to eat and I got paper plates, etc. I am making the deserts and some drinks. We will be all set. No gift giving amongst this part of the family. In January (the 13th) we will celebrate with my siblings and that is alot of gifts!!!
The plan is to relax!!! And yes Hockey everyday except Christmas Day!!!

Kirstenmumof3 replied:  Tomorrow the 22, I am having a little get together with some friends from Highschool. We usually get together once a year, but it's been a while. On Christmas Eve we are going to my Grandmothers for a little bit and Christmas day we will open presents at our house, my bestfriend is spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with us. Then at around Noon, my friend has a little Christmas Party to go to, so we will drop her off and then head to my inlaws to open presents. Then back to our house to make dinner, we're having the whole family over to our house for Christmas Dinner. It's going to be so nice!

Somewhere in there we have to fit in a short visit with Dh's mom...when I say 'in laws' I mean his dad & stepmom. I dont care for his mother much...but I would feel bad about not seeing her @ all...so I told DH she could come to our house for a little while at some point. I'm sure she will throw a hissy fit that we arent coming to HER house but I dont care.
