So sick and miserable...

I haven't been this sick since I was a child. I hate it. DH hasn't been off this week (of course) and didn't even ask me if I needed anything this morning before he left for work. Maddie is feeling a lot better. The doctor bill was $238 and the meds were $85. Maybe this will get DH in gear to get us on a private policy!! Luckily we had the money to pay for it. I've been telling him that we need major medical or some kind of insurance. He is so irritating sometimes. Oh well! I just want to feel better.

MomToJade&Jordan replied: I'm sorry that you are feeling poorly sweety. I got two pretty bad colds when I was pg and I was just misreable. It seems like the more far along you are the more miserable you feel when your sick. I am going to send you some ~~~GET WELL VIBES~~~ and I hope that they work. Now that you have the meds. you should start to feel better.

When iwas preg with her i was a caregiver to 1 year old triplets...EEEK. and i went to work alot sick with awful colds...

I'm still feeling pretty rotten, but I was able to get out for a little while even though I look like someone ran me over. The weather is beautiful here. This medicine makes me extremely drowsy so I can only take it once during the day (naptime) and once in the evening (bedtime) I don't know how much that will help me, but maybe the rest of it will work before too long.

I honestly don't know how you live w/o insurance. This is one thing we are very fortunate on and one reason why Dh can never leave his job We have EXCELLENT health insurance. I couldn't ask for a better policy. It used to be PREMIUM, but we keep losing certain "options" every year. One day I'm sure it will be far from excellent, but I'm glad we have what we have for now.

I honestly never thought I would be without it. DH has millions of dollars worth of life insurance, but doesn't think health ins is important, I guess! He is so weird. And of course if I suggest anything he won't do it. I don't know what happened to him. He really wasn't this way until a couple of years ago. I feel like my hands are tied. Our policy through his job is effective on April 1 so I take comfort in knowing we will have something then. If I can just make it one more month.
