So sad...

MommyToAshley wrote: I packed away another drawer of Ashley's clothes. She is growing way too fast! Anyone else get sad when they pack up some of the clothes your baby has out grown? Or, am I just being silly?

Joannerobinm replied: You are not the only one. bawling.gif I cried when I put away Alex's 0-3 month clothes...now I just get teary...I'm able to fight back the tears happy.gif

What size is Ashley in now?

momofajcl replied: I do too! And since this is our last...well, I'm trying to keep a few of the outfits all three boys wore that are my favorites. It will be fun to pull them out again when the boys have children.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I've washed and put away most of Zach's clothes already...he's just so big!! Luckily I have a step-nephew that is 3 months older than him, as well as a nephew who is 2 years old... so we get tons of hand-me-downs!!

(speaking of which... I should be due to get another box in the mail.... haven,t gotten any in 2 months.... hmmm) baby.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: Kaitlin is just starting to out grow some of her clothes (mostly the things with feet, they are to short), it does make me sad to have to put some away, but then I think she has been wearing them for over 3 months! Over all though she is still in 0-3months, one is still to big, hummm I wonder if it was missed marked, its more like 3-6 months. I do have some favorite outfits, so I will keep them and get rid of the rest. baby.gif

MommyToAshley replied: I think Ashley flew by size 3-6 months...she wore them for about 2 weeks. LOL

Kaitlin'smom replied: I hope Kaitlin doesn't do that I just got her a couple of spring/summer things, but I do have the reciept so I guess I could always take them back if needed.

dhoppygirl replied: We've already had to pack a lot of Peyton 0-6 month clothes away...I don't get too teary eyed, though because I just think about our next kids who will be wearing them biggrin.gif baby.gif

Luckily, Peyton has two older boy cousins who are handing down lots of their clothes; we just got a tub full sizes 9mos-4T!!! I keep telling people my baby will never be big enough to wear a 4T...he is going to stay small forever!!!!

Schnoogly replied: Yeah I know what you mean about the 3-6 month clothes--I stupidly bought 2 packs of 3-6mo. onesies and he's outgrowing them already. I should have just gotten the 6-9 month ones. He also wears fitted cloth diapers so his butt is huge--making the smaller size clothes not snap at the crotch. I just had to buy new diaper covers too for his chunky thighs! He never outgrows the feet though since he's short legged (like his mom) and long-torsoed (like his dad). He weighs almost 15 lbs but is still only 24"long.
Steph

Check out the size of his butt! (and the pants too long)

Hillbilly Housewife replied: ROFL!!! That's the biggest baby Butt I've seen! Go cloth diapers!!

rofl

dhoppygirl replied: LOL!!! biggrin.gif What a cute baby butt!!!!
Sounds like your son has a case of the cankles!! (No legs, just knees and ankles!) Peyton also is short legged and we just say he has cankles!! laugh.gif

Schnoogly replied: Oh yeah Iain totally has cankles. Calf-ankles. He kept losing his blood pressure cuff in the hospital because his feet were so much smaller than his cankles!! The good thing is that his butt is really padded and easy to hang onto and when he learns to stand up it won't hurt when he sits down hard. We also have a double layer fleece cover for nighttime which is extra big and his butt reaches giganitic proportions--no sleeper will snap around it! (The cover doesn't leak though and it looks really cute) wink.gif

MommyToAshley replied: OMG -- cutest butt I have ever seen! LOL smile.gif
