So not good news

MyBrownEyedBoy wrote: Logan had his 3rd heart cath yesterday morning. Aaron and I walked him to the lab and I held him while they put him to sleep. This time, the cath was completely not successful. In fact, Logan now has to have major open heart surgery within a month. They wanted to do it next Wednesday, but I needed more time to schedule grandparents to come help take care of him after I go back to work. I have to go back because my insurance is his insurance and without it we would have to come up with about $30,000. This sucks so bad you guys. I am just sick to my stomach and worried to death.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Got the scheduling call a few hours ago. I have been on the phone like mad trying to like up sitter/grandparent help for the weeks after his surgery. This is so frustrating. He is scheduled for October 27th. My little guy's first real Halloween will be spent in the hospital. It wasn't the news we had hoped for, but I am holding up well, considering. I knew going in to the cath that it wasn't going to be a miracle cure, but I had hoped to buy some extra time. Like 6 months to a year of extra time. Thank you all for your replies. You have become such a close network of friends for me. I love each and every one of you like family. May God bless you and keep you all from harm. Thanks again for loving me.
