So, here's a question...
MyLuvBugs wrote: Do you consider your 1 year old child an infant still or a toddler?
For me, it depends on the day. So far today....toddler. But yesterday....MAJOR infant. lol
mckayleesmom replied: I say Toddler...but Russell is still very baby like compared to alot of toddlers.
KingMom replied: I say Toddler.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Definitely toddler!
3xsthefun replied: Toddler.
mckayleesmom replied: Here is how I look at it....Once they are walking...they are toddlers because they get to toddle around ...If they are not walking yet...they are still babies....
Walking+ Getting into everything='s Toddler
AlexsPajamaMama replied: I agree Toddling around is toddler!
C&K*s Mommie replied: I do not have a one year old anymore, but I agree that it depends on what they are doing. I do not so much call them babies anymore once they are 1, but I really do not refer to them as toddlers so much (most of the time) unless they are walking and such.
1lilpeanut2love replied: Even though Kaylee has been walking since she was 9-months, I consider her a baby. I don't even think of her as an infant anymore. She is in to everything and goes all over the place. I really miss her being an infant though. Where has the time went!!
Nathansmom replied: Toddler for sure here!
kayla's mama replied: As much as I hate to admit it.....toddler
I realized this last Sun at church. We tried taking her to the nursery and they no she's a toddler
MamaJAM replied: To me they are --
Newborn for the fist 6 weeks. Infant from 6 weeks until walking. Toddler from walking (be that 10 months or 15) until age 3.5. Age 3.5-5 Preschooler.
Edward's Mommy replied: Edward is still 8 months old but I have a feeling that when he's a year old, I'll still see him as a baby.
coasterqueen replied: Oh I consider Megan to be very much a baby or at least compared to what her sister was at a year old. Kylie was walking and talking pretty clearly and much more vocal. Megan still crawls, not even interested in walking and barely babbling. She's also a LOT tinier than her sissy was too.
lesliesmom replied: This is my reasoning as well!!!
My2Beauties replied: Hanna was walking at 10 months, it was about that time that I started referring to her as a toddler, but when I think about the word toddler I see more 2-3 year olds, so really I have no idea
kimberley replied: baby because i have a 10yo to compare her to.
na81 replied: I say after they start walking- toddler! My daughter is 16 months old-sometimes it seems hard to believe! She will always be my little "baby" though! Time goes by so fast!!
MyLuvBugs replied: Oh gosh! If that's the case, Lorelei's been a toddler since she was 8 months old!!
ilovemybaby replied: Toddler.
I can't put Abby in those stretch n grows anymore (the ones with the feet). They just don't look right LOL She doesn't look like a baby anymore
Brias3 replied: At the time of them being one, I usually considered them a toddler.
